PATEL WIRE INDUSTRIES (A SUBSIDIARY OF PATEL ENTERPRISES PRIVATE LIMITED) COMMENCED MANUFACTURE OF ALL ALUMINIUM CONDUCTORS (AAC CONDUCTORS) AND ALUMINIUM CONDUCTORS STEEL REINFORCED (ACSR CONDUCTORS) IN MUMBAI (FORMERLY KNOWN AS BOMBAY) IN 1976. IN 1991 AS A RESULT OF EXPANSON AND DIVERSIFICATION UNDERTAKEN BY THE COMPANY, THE FACTORY WAS SHIFTED TO A MUCH BIGGER PREMISES AT IGATPURI, DIST. NASHIK WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY 130 KMS FROM MUMBAI. AS A RESULT OF THE EXPANSION AND DIVERSIFICATION UNDERTAKEN BY THE COMPANY IT NOW MANUFACTURES THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS:-

ALUMINIUM CONDUCTORS STEEL REINFORCED(ACSR CONDUCTORS)
ALL ALUMINIUM ALLOY CONDUCTORS(AAAC CONDUCTORS)
BARE ALUMINIUM WIRES
BARE ALUMINIUM ALLOY WIRES.

CONDUCTORS ARE USED FOR OVERHEAD POWER TRANSMISSION. THE COMPANYS MAIN CLIENTS ARE VARIOUS ELECTRIC UTILITIES BOTH IN INDIA AS WELL AS OVERSEAS WHO USE AAC CONDUCTOR, ACSR CONDUCTORS AND AAAC CONDUCTORS FOR OVERHEAD POWER TRANSMISSION. BARE ALUMINIUM WIRES AND BARE ALUMINIUM ALLOY WIRES ARE SOLD TO WIRE AND CABLE MANUFACTURERS, MANUFACTURERS OF RIVETS, EYELETS AND FOR OTHER GENERAL ENGINEERING PURPOSES.

Our products had been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards, and we had been licensed to put their mark on our products. Our products had also been tested and approved by international agencies like Crown Agents, Societe Generale De Surveillance S.A. Geneva, Switzerland (SGS).
