Therefore Steropax does not catalyses hydrolyses of Aspirin as is the case with the use of Magnesium stearate. Steropax does not interfere in the stability of Vitamin groups in tablets and capsule formulation. Steropax does not increase Disintegration Time of tablets even on long storage where as Magnesium stearate always affects disintegration time adversely. Steropax gives pearly shine to tablets as compared to other traditional lubricants.

When all other factors like: Binders, Granule Size, Percentage of Moisture etc. are controlled and problem of jamming and picking of punches persists, Sterosol does away with the problems. Such a case is reported in Ethambutol, Ibuprofen Compression. Sterosol imparts smoothness and shining to the tablet surface. Sterosol is Non-Toxic and Non- Hygroscopic and chemically Magnesium-Oxyethylene-Silicate.
