All automotive wire is made up of a number of strands of copper wire. Needless to say, the more current the wires are required to carry, the greater the number of strands it needs, so a cable designated 28/0.30 is made up of 28 strands of wire, each measuring 0.30mm in diameter. The following table shows the various sizes and the general use of the wire.
Payal Automotive cables are also manufactured as per the conventional sizes prevailing in the market where the copper and the PVC insulation meets the above standards requirements and impervious to water, oil, petrol, acid and greases.
Payal Automotive cables are supplied in standard lengths of 25 or 30 mts in carton boxes. However customer specified lengths can also be supplied.

Individual and or overall shielding with Aluminium-Mylar tape/copper tape/lapping/braiding provided depending upon the requirement. Armouring provided with an extruded inner PVC/PE sheath and overall sheath of PVC/PE wherever required.
ABC-aerial bundled cables with aluminium conductor for 1 kV overhead system has been manufactured by Payal Cables.

Bright annealed bare copper of high electrolytic grade drawn to fine strands, multi strands bunched together rope shaped wire for uniformity of conductor dia, resistance, dimensions and flexibility etc. The diameter of the conductor is so uniform that strands do not get cut when stripping the insulation thus conductor gives perfect conductivity which eliminates spot heating and sparking.
Insulation
Specially formulated grade of PVC compound is capable of withstanding higher conductor temperatures with flame retardant properties. A rating of 105°C with FR properties enables the cable to withstand overloads without compromising safety. The insulation is resistant to boiling water, steam and vapors to prevent aging and cracking in practical usage in kitchens, bathrooms, damp walls, chemical industries etc.
Marking
The Cable are printed with generic marking PAYAL - FRHR
