The main features of 2D images :

Combination Effect

In combined technology hologram originals are produced using both E-Beam technologies and optical methods. On the other hand, E-Beam technology allows incorporating 2D, 2D/3D and other Computer-Synthesized elements into hologram.     

In this kind of holograms various alphabetical and numeral are incorporated. Alphanumeric sequence numbering on holograms significantly enhances security and provides ease of tracking. These holograms can be tamper proof or can be even invisible under normal viewing condition.

Variable information which can be incorporated in the above mentioned hologram are:

is a piece of ribbed plastic with lenticules running vertically - ranging from 15 line per inch to 150 line per inch. Each rib is a lens. Each lens is set up according to viewing distance, depth and field of view through a logarithmic process commonly known as ‘interlacing’. This assists in incrementally developing the movement that the brain interprets and the eye ‘appears’ to see. Lenticulars are unique because you do not need special glasses to see the illusion. They are made by taking a multi-layered image, merging it in to one layer, and placing a special lens over the image so that each layer appears separately depending upon where the viewer is in relation to the picture. The finer the lens, the more layers can be seen.

Available effects :

Flips	Two or more images changing from one to the other. The simplest and often most effective use of lenticulars. Can be activated side to side ( horizontally - e.g. window displays ) or up and down ( vertically - escalators ).
3D	Creating depth ( up to 2 feet ) from a 5mm lens.
Animations	This is similar to the flip effect except three or more static images are used. This can create a more interesting or complex transition from one image to the next.
Zoom	This is when you look at an image and you appear to zoom in and out as you move the lenticular back and forth. Basically, the same image just gets bigger and smaller. It is a very effective and easy to produce in combo with 3-D.
Morphing	This is a multi-phase animation where the transition from one image to the next is “stepped” to give the illusion that one “morphs”, transforms or changes into another image. The preparation of the art is critical to the effectiveness of this effect.

The FDA approves ingredients not specific products. These chemicals are placed on a GRAS list. (Generally Recognized As Safe) As such P.B.Holotech finds ink to use to print your packaging product not only inks for boxes that are produced with approved ingredients but inks for boxes that are specific for use with the type of food that your package might come in contact with. Using safe ingredients should keep your food edible.

Metal Foil:
Sometimes metal foil can be stamped onto a paperboard box to make the graphics more appealing.Usually these are gold or silver foil. In addition the box can be embossed for added effect.There is also special silver ink that gives a look similar to foil but is less expensive in some cases.

Hot Stamping is a dry printing and pollution free process in which controlled heat and pressure is passed through a heated die and the image is transformed from the foil to substrates like plastic, wood, paper, etc.
