About UsAtha Group formed Petro Carbon and Chemicals Pvt. Ltd (PCCPL) mainly with the idea of acquiring the entire CPC producing facilities of Haldia Plant from erstwhile Petrocarbon and Chemicals Company (PCC), a unit of Hindusthan Engineering & Industries Ltd (HEIL).
It has a group of entrepreneurs who have been in the business of iron ore mining in the State of Orissa in India for over six decades. Besides local sale of iron ore, the Group has significant presence in the export market for iron ore.
It owns an integrated Steel Plant by the name of Scaw Industries Private Limited having DRI, Steel making and captive Power Plant at Dhenkanal in Orissa , India , with captive coal mines.
It has presence in production of Wind Energy in Karnataka, Gujarat and Maharastra with an installed capacity of 10.25 MW.
Further expansion is in hand to enhance the capacity. Power generated is fed to the State Electricity Board Grid.
The Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Government of Orissa for setting up of a Greenfield project for steel making. |
