We currently operate ten modern ready to wear apparel manufacturing facilities, of which seven are located in India, two in Bangladesh and one in Indonesia. This enables us to leverage relative strengths of each location and offer a wide range of product offerings to our clients. Multi country presence also helps in diversifying the risks attached to each country. Each factory specializes in a particular product range. The broad range of products that we offer includes :- Ladies tops T-shirts Denims Dresses Polos Casual Pants Knits & Woven Sweaters The present in-house manufacturing capacity of the company is twenty million pc. per annum spread over more than 725,000 sq feet of built up area with efficiently designed layouts to ensure smooth flow of materials. We are planning to double our capacity expanding our operations in Chennai, Bangladesh & Indonesia. We will have a capacity of 30 Mil. Pcs. by the end of 2009. We follow best practices in manufacturing, which ensures quality products are delivered on consistent basis. Our units are approved by some of top retailers of the world; likes of The Gap Inc., J.C Penney, Next, Liz Claiborne, Esprit. We follow ethical practices and full compliance to regulations prevailing in the country, we operate.

Outcome of Board Meeting held on 30th January 2010

In compliance to the Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement, the Board of Directors of the Company in their meeting held today, 30th January 2010, considered and took on record the Un-Audited Financial Results for the quarter ended 31st December 2009.

Team / Manpower
Mr. Deepak Seth, born 1951, a non-resident Indian, is the non-executive Chairman of the Company. He has a Bachelor of Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and Post Graduate of Business Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai. He is also the non-executive Chairman of Pearl Global, the listed Subsidiary of the Company. He has over 31 years of experience in the apparel industry. He led in expanding the operations from a single manufacturing unit in India to the current operations in 12 locations across the world. He has played an important role in setting up our sourcing business in Hong Kong, Bangladesh and China, setting up new manufacturing units in Bangladesh and Indonesia and acquiring existing businesses in the U.K. and the U.S. He was elected to the Apparel Export Promotion Council in the years 1990 and 1993, and has been inducted to the Executive Committee of the Apparel Export Promotion Council as a special invitee.
Mr. Pulkit Seth, born 1980, a resident Indian, is the Managing Director of the Company. He has a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Leonard N. Stern School of Business, University of New York, U.S. He has over four years of experience in the apparel industry. He is also the Managing Director of Pearl Global, the listed Subsidiary of the Company. He has been overseeing the manufacturing operations of the Group which are spread across India, Bangladesh, Indonesia and China. He has also played an important role in streamlining business processes and enhancing relationships with leading retailers in the U.S. He was also the Joint Managing Director of Norwest Industries (HK) and continues to be on its board of directors.
Mr. Sanjay Pershad, born 1965, a resident Indian, is a non-executive Director of the Company. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University. He has over 13 years of experience in the garment industry.
Mr. Samar Ballav Mohapatra, born 1944, a resident Indian, is an independent Director of the Company. He has a Bachelor in Arts degree from Delhi University and Master in Arts degree from Delhi University. He joined the Indian Administrative Services in 1967 and retired in 2004. He served as Secretary, Ministry of Textiles; Special Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs; Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministry of Commerce and Director General of Foreign Trade. He was also the Managing Director of Industrial Development Corporation, Orissa.
Dr. Ashutosh Prabhudas Bhupatkar, born 1951, a resident Indian, is an independent Director of the Company. He has a Bachelor in Commerce degree from Pune University, a Master in Management Studies from Bombay University and a Doctorate in Organizational Studies from Pune University.
