Energy Meter

We manufacture and supply optimum quality ‘energy meter-logger’, an instrument which is capable of measuring and displaying thirty six electrical parameters. Our energy meter also has the capability to log and store 1000 sets of five important parameters in internal memory. We can also customize the energy meter to increase the data logging facility for more than 1000 records on client request. The recording interval which is normally of one hour can be changed upon prior request of our clients. Any variation in load by more than 20 per cent is also recorded.
 
The meter is available with communication port and appropriate software for accessing recorded data. CT/PT ratio is programmable. Facility to calibrate voltage, current and power factor of individual phase is provided through Keyboard and Display. The password for the energy meter is user-programmable. Our energy meter is available in two different versions such as with LCD and with seven segment LED display. Our technologically advanced energy meter measures true RMS with data logging.

PEC  custom designs the Street light controllers. We have following type of street light controllers.
 
1-      Digital Clock based street light Control system: One may set the “On time” and “off time”. The switching of steet lights shall be repeated every day. Another option may be designed for switching ON/ OFF the alternate lights at designated time to save energy without compromising the requirements.
 
2-      “Sun rise / Sun set” based Street light Control System :
 
a.      Uses digital clock based timer.
b.       Timer has memory to store the sun set and sun rise data for complete year.
c.       The timer has RS-485 communication port and uses MODBUS RTU protocol. The software with RS-485 to USB converter  can be used for communication with timer.
d.      One may feed the data for complete year which may be repeated every year.
e.       At any point of time the data may be modified by the user.
f.       Optionally one may install the wireless communication device for communicating with the “ Street light control systems”
g.      Optionally Energy meter with RS-485 port may be installed and data for energy usage may be collected on line.
 
One may think of any other usage of this system . we shall try to customize the same.
 
3-      Light / Lux based control for switching the street lights:
Light sensor is used for switching the lights. It is very important to
a-      place the light sensor in right direction.
b-      It should get the sun light directly without any hindrance.
c-      No auxiliary light should fall on it.
d-     Routine cleaning of sensor is must.
 
4-      Street light control with Dimming for energy saving :  The idea behind the control strategy is that during the late night till morning the traffic is low and hence it is possible to reduce the lux levels. The diming makes the lights uniform throughout the street and saves valuable energy. The saving may range from 20% to 35% depending on the control strategy and choice of lamps / fittings.                              We offer dimmable ballast based FTL (fluorescent tube) lights. The ballasts can dim the lights from 100%  to 10% of power level. Dimming may be automated with digital timer  based controls.
