About Us

The Patel group diversified into the Automobile industry in 1997 as exclusive dealers for Honda automobiles in Cochin. The goodwill of the customers and the word of mouth appreciation that Peninsular Honda received for the service standards the company maintained in Cochin helped us to expand to additional HONDA dealerships in 3 cities in 2 states. We are proud of the fact that in the 2006 JDP survey of Customer Satisfaction, we stood 2nd among all HONDA dealers. The automobile operations are headed by Mr. Mitesh K Patel (Managing Director). The Patel group under Sri K P Patel commenced its operations as an automobile dealer with a Mobil gas station attached to it. In 1960, the group shifted to Cochin and diversified into Rosewood exports. Over a period of 50 years, the group has grown to become one of the largest exporters of Rosewood products in India controlling nearly 80% of the entire Rosewood exports from the country. Exporting mainly to Japan, Europe & USA, the Patel Group has an International Business Experience of over more than 50 years. The quality, commitment and trust that we have developed with our customers have resulted in our clientele families purchasing our Rosewood products for more than 2 generations. Our interests are not focused to business alone. We have a strong commitment to help the under privileged children and we run a matriculation school which caters to the educational needs of more than 1500 students. A library and a special primary education center for the girls were also set up with the intention to provide them free education.
