The Palm Fibre Story

The humble beginnings of this brilliant success story dates back to 1945. The year when the father – son duo of VO Ouseph Sr. and VO Ouseph Jr. founded Palm Fibre (India) Private Limited. The modest beginnings of the little company were limited to the manufacturing and export of Coir Yarn and a limited range of Value added products like entrance Mats etc.

Who can suppress the growth and progress of a shining north star? As time went, Palm Fibre grew to be a fond household name in the international avenues. New tie-ups were born of a Joint Venture with Gover Horowitz Pvt. Ltd & Blunt of UK and was renamed Palm Fibre Gover Horowitz Private Limited, in the year 1965.

Mr. Matthew Ouseph of the Third generation inherited the reign of the Palm Fibre Dynasty and the growth and progress through consolidation and expansion was astonishing. The new Chapter of success unfolded with great finesse and Palm Fibre made its mark in the industry. New products like jute, rubber, cotton and even authentic colonial furniture were added to the basket of products. The starlight of Palm Fibre shone on brighter than ever.

Today, Palm Fibre is a strong, dynamic and professionally managed group with a dedicated pool of human resources.

Welcome to the World of Fibres

If some one says of you, that you’re a man of fibre, add an extra dab of pride into your attitude. It’s a big compliment and a powerful statement of mettle, courage, wisdom and substance.
Literally translated into our day to day living, fibre is omniscient. In the hair and the nail, in the food we consume, in the clothes we wear, and the softened floors we walk upon, the live essence of Fibre lives on, with us every day.

As Fashions come and go, the concept of interiors and it’s elements that define the soul and character of a home are as dynamic as history being made everyday. The underlined fact is that the presence of Fibre is undeniable. What other substance can match the beauty and grace and naturalisma of something as cozy as natural fibre.

The world’s romance with synthetics may have lost most of its ardor. And with good reason too. What the synthetics can do, the Natural fibre can do and much more smartly, in fact. 100 % biodegradable, Natural Fibre is lovingly tamed by modern production techniques and generations of homegrown talent and experience. And an undyed passion for naturalisma.

Where traditional skills meet modern technological processes to weave irresistible magic upon the fibrous elements of nature – This is the world of Fibres. Welcome!
