Visible Laser System, ELA-301

The Laser based sensors are available for long distance position sensing. Moreover the visible spot available even at a distance of 50M can be sensed for use as transmission mode (opposed mode) sensor ELD-101. The reflective mode sensor EIL-301 can sense objects upto 3M or even more. For Contactless yet precision distance / displacement measurement, we developed LASER based sensor type ELA-301 giving analog output depending upon distance. The displacement or the distance of the object from sensor is sensed by the reflected light from the object which is evaluated in proper form. The measurement of displacement even in few microns is registered and given as a change in output. The analog output limits can be programmed to register the movement within desired limits.

Proximity Switches-PGprox Inductive & Capacitive

Inductive Proximity switches operate on principle of damping oscillations by ferrous or non-ferrous object. By bringing the object near to the sensor, it gives out a signal indicating its presence or absence. Available for sensing distance of 0.8mm to 40mm.They are offered in sizes from M5 to M80 and other miniatures. EDP-101 three wire DC version are offered to give NO or NC solid state outputs upto maximum 400mA at 6 to 30V.DC. EDP-601 two wire DC version are offered with voltage range 10-30V.DC supply. EDP-301 two wire AC version are available in size K12, K14 and M12 are suitable for 90V - 145V.AC or 145V - 250V.AC supply and can operate a contactor coil when used in series with 2 wires. The Universal EDP-501 is another version of two wire AC execution, available in sizes M18 through M80,can operate on wider voltage levels from 85-250V.AC or DC. Capacitive proximity switches EDC-101 can sense non-metallic objects like water, PVC, wood and other synthetic material.

Infra-red Sensors & Safety Guards

These invisible light barriers work on emission of infra-red rays which either get interrupted or reflected from the object to be sensed by the sensor. In transmission mode, the emitters & detectors are placed in opposed mode in which the object interrupts the beam or else. In reflection mode, it gets reflected to give an ON/OFF output signal. They are available in different forms (tubular & box type) for sensing distances upto 12M in transmission mode & 1.5M in reflective mode. Infra-red safety guards Series GA-- form an invisible curtain which if interrupted by finger or hand gives a signal to shut off the drive. They are used in machines like presses where entry of human or any other part may cause damage/injury. Infra-red sensors are used extensively in industrial automation for limit positioning & counting since it is unaffected by ambient light, it is used extensively where long sensing distances are to be covered.

Visible Light Sensors

Opto-electronics visible light sensors- ECR-501, ECG-501, ECU-501, ERA-101 are specifically designed to sense only the desired colour amongst others in the background. Further the function of its sensors should not be affected by normal daylight. Mark sensing is the most common requirement utilized in Packaging industry. To sense a colour mark in a background of contrast colour or different colour, ECG-501, ECR-501 and ECU-501 are the most commonly used. To choose a mark with only slight contrast background is achieved by special sensors. Besides on-line sensing of objects in packaging industry, these colour sensors are also supplied for identifying and sorting colours of bigger objects in a production line. Teach-button method is used for this purpose. A robust edge guide sensor with analog output ERA-101 is used in feedback loop to control the straight flow of web on a machine. It has a visible light spot to facilitate correct installation.

Double Sheet Detector From Germany

for monitoring uninterrupted production of ferrous rod, wire or strips, ring sensor is the right tool. The sensor is rs –101 manufactured by pg electronics detects the breakage continuity in line production. The sensors are large enough to accept pass through of line produced material like bar, wire or strip. Presence or absence of material will give a solid state output with led indicating the change.

 

the ring sensor rs-101 is suitable for operation on 6–30 v. Dc with logic no or nc output enough to drive a relay coil. Designs with suitable bores of 50mm and 17mm. Are available to suit various bar or wire diameters of ferrous and even non-ferrous materials. A sensitivity adjustment provision enables one to adjust the operating range depending upon the size and nature of the material which threads through the ’pass’ opening provided in the sensor.

 

the ring sensor rs-101 is a robust unit and has a built-in mounting facility.   it finds it’s application in bar or wire cold rolling mill and all industries where this type of material is used as in feed or production line.   the sensor is also used for confirming or counting of bolts, nuts or blanks in production. Further to detect unwanted metal chips in moulding or gross in-feed material the ring sensor may be effectively utilized.
