 | | Outdoor Current Transformer We offer an assortment of 11KV outdoor current transformers manufactured from high grade iron as per the client’s requirements. These outdoor current transformers are available in varied forms such as:
- Wound type: Wound type transformer is equipped with a primary winding that is greater than one full turn wound on the core.
- Bar type: Bar type transformer has a primary winding comprising of a bar that is appropriate in size and material.
- Dry type: Dry type transformer does not need liquid or semi - liquid material and are perfect for varied industries.
- Primary winding type: Winding is done through current having transformed flow.
- Secondary winding type: Winding supplies the current of measuring instruments, meters, relays and other similar apparatus.
The value of the primary current depends upon the efficiency of outdoor current transformers and the value of secondary current is based on the effectiveness of transformer. Ratio of the actual primary current is equal to the actual secondary current and the current error percentages of these transformers are calculated by the following formula, ((Knls-lp) X 100)/lp. Where: Kn: is the rated transformation ratio lp: is the actual primary current ls: is the actual secondary current when lp is following, under the conditions of measurement. | |  | | |  |

 | | Dry Type Transformer We also offer a wide range of epoxy resin moulded, current transformers. These are also known as dry type transformers. These are manufactured by using vacuum mulding techniques. These dry type transformers are extremely capable to construct the core and grain-sloping silicon-iron. The ultimate result is a core in that all of the molecules are shaped with the direction of flux. Molecules not shaped with the magnetic flux direction boost up a core's unwillingness, debasing performance to the level of usual steel when the molecules are 90 degrees out of phase. Specifications of dry type transformers are:
- Able to work at 1.6 to 1.8 Tesla
- EI cores are restricted to 1.2 to 1.4 Tesla
- Light weighted
- Available in varied sizes
Their efficiency is calculated as a percent by the following formula: % = (PO / PI) x 100 Where; PO = Output power, PI = Input power, % = Efficiency Also, reserve losses are very much reduced under no-load operation due to the lower magnetizing currents essential by the toroidal core . | |  | | |  |
