About Us

In response to the request of a business man to make a compact baler for recycling paper, Philip Varghese (Founder of Philip Hydraulics) began to work on such a machine in 1989. There was no such machine available in India at that time. This first venture was a success and many orders followed.

In few years Philip Hydraulics became a reputed manufacturer of baling machines, custom made hydraulic machines, presses and hydraulic cylinders. Now Philip Hydraulics operates from an 18,000 sq.ft well equipped and modern factory located at a leading industrial area in Chennai, India.
