About Usn 1943, Shri Dhanji Maharaj Khetia started a small business of savouries on roadside opposite to Ramji Asher School (Ghatkopar). Later his two sons, Shri Gijubhai & Shri Harishankarbhai started a shop viz. Maharaj Farsan at Ghatkopar (W).
On getting a good response, he set up a shop in 1984 at Ghatokpar (E). He started with farsan. His speciality is not only Tikha Gathiya but also is specalised in catering. Even today he maintains the same quality and taste of his products.
In the year 1979, he had served the then, President of India, Mr.Jailsingh, at Mayors bungalow in Mumbai.
In 1990s, he started with different types of Dhoklas which was again a grand success in Ghatkopar.
Mr. Umeshbhai Khetia finally decided to launch his very old special item Tikkha Gatihya along with different snacks under a brand name, PIKMIK.
The fourth generation, Mr. Nirmal Khetia & Mr. Prashant Khetia, sons of Mr. Umeshbhai initiated the name PIKMIK and decided to have it as their brand name maintaining the quality and the taste of the items.
In the future new namkeen products will be added under the brand name PIKMIK.
TIPTOP which was limited to Mumbai will now be a World wide Brand as PIKMIK. |

In 1975, Shri Gijubhai & his son Shri Umeshbhai, the now MD of TIPTOP Farsan, started with the same business under the shade of a tree and named it as TIPTOP.
