The number of seats manufactured by Pinnacle has increased dramatically from a figure of around 59,000 seats in 1997 - 98 to over 9,00,000 seat places in 2007-2008.
While bus passenger seats of Pinnacle Industries are the first choice of top notch automotive manufacturers like Tata Motors & Ashok Leyland and various state transport undertakings, other categories of seats manufactured by Pinnacle have been in use in major venues across India like the Centre for Advanced Technology, the Jaipur Multiplex, GGL Hotels and Resorts. Railway seats manufactured by Pinnacle are used by the Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala and the Indian Coach Factory at Chennai. Pinnacle office furniture is used, amongst others, by Microsoft India Ltd., Wipro India Ltd. Pinnacle products are also exported worldwide.
The company has entered into several international collaborations with renowned names in automotive seats and home & office furniture. Pinnacle products meet the hightest international regulatory and safety standards.
History
Pinnacle Industries, founded in 1996, began with the manufacturing of automotive seats, automotive interiors and polyurethane articles. Today, the company boasts of a fully integrated manufacturing facility, complete with frame fabrication, powder coating, mould making, polyurethane foaming, trims and a complete range of testing facilities.
It has 6 full-fledged divisions namely automotive seating, automotive interiors, bus & railway seating, theater seating, special seating and home & office furniture. The number of seats manufactured by Pinnacle has increased dramatically from a figure of around 59,000 seats in 1997 - 98 to over 9,00,000 seat places in 2007-2008.
Unlike the general trend of multiple-point procurement, Pinnacle is among the very few companies to boast of Totally Integrated Manufacturing.
Milestones of the company so far -

Commenced operations with seats for utility vehicle and LCV's.

Added Bus passenger seats.

Diversified into furniture manufacturing with technical collaboration from Saporiti Italia , Italy , to manufacture their entire range of home/office furniture for both, the domestic and export markets.

Commercial exports to Callow & Maddox, UK for the supply of car covers, head restraints and driver seats for Rover, McLaren, Mercedes, etc.

Entered into co-operation with Gerflor, France, for PVC transport flooring.

Entered into collaboration with Vogelsitze, Germany , one of the leading bus passenger seats suppliers in the world.

Entered into collaboration with Cauval Industries, France, for the manufacture of sofas, sofa-cum-beds and recliners.

Pinnacle Industries Ltd. has created an advanced engineering laboratory that includes computer aided engineering and new, prototyping techniques.
