Capable to produce ultra pure water which meets IP / BP requirements in terms of freedom from trace elements and Progeny's. The electrical conductivity of the filtrate is 0.2 - 0.5 micro - ohms (Double Stage) / 0.5-1.0 micro - ohms (Single Stage) per cm. at 20°C. Membrane Filter Systems Designed for Vacuum filtration of Tissue Culture media and components. Biological Fluids, HPLC and other aqueous solutions. Filter units contain an integrally sealed fretted glass support bed (perfectly ground to match a funnel) for holding a 25 mm. / 47 mm. dia. Filter membrane (not suitable for Ceramic Membranes). The unit is designed to maximize flow and reduce foaming and protein denaturation. The filter funnel support bed and receiver flask are fitted with interchangeable ground joint and one Aluminum Clamp is provided to hold the filter funnel and support bed properly. One dust cover made of polypropylene is also provided. The total unit is autoclave. Another model is available with silicone rubber stopper (which can withstand repeated autoclave) fitting in place of ground joint fitting.

| Chromatography Apparatus For purification and separation of both organic and inorganic materials PISCO Chromatography apparatus can satisfactorily be used. A wide range of columns in models and sizes are available. Apart from Semi Micro and Medium complete sets any specific sizes and model can be fabricated according to customers design. Since we have developed PTFE key stopcocks, customers are advised to use the Chromatography apparatus with PTFE stopcocks to avoid grease contamination that occurs in glass key stopcocks. | Vacuum Proof Stopcocks PISCO Stopcocks (vacuum tested leak proof) are made ruggedly constructed with hollow piston and a tapered flange, which ensures maximum strength at the seal of arms, and are individually finely lapped to the corresponding barrel. Therefore these are not interchangeable but guarantee in vacuum work. A wide range of models is available for individual field of application. The essence of PISCO stopcocks are the minimum possible interspace between the barrel and piston and perfect lapping to enable it to withstand against use in reasonable vacuum. Volumetric Wares The essence of PISCO Volumetric wares are the precise accuracy in calibration. All PISCO Volumetric wares are calibrated in our own well-equipped laboratory with modern calibrated instruments. The class 'B' and 'A'tolerances, as established by IS / BS / ASTM, are strictly maintained. All PISCO brand Volumetric wares of class 'A' tolerances are provided with our works certificate with individual identification and stating actual volume measured/delivered. PISCO graduated Pipettes are made with a specially heat treated process that provides tempered tips and resistance against higher mechanical shocks. | Laboratory Glassware The glass fibre structure of PISCO sintered filters results in a more abrasion resistant surface. Being fused together on a greater surface area, the particles do not detach from the filter body as easily as spheroid granules. Being made entirely of heat resistant borosilicate glass, resistance to thermal shok and chemical attack is unimpaired. PISCO sintered filters are manufactured from 100% low expansion borosilicate glass grains and cleaned till it is 100% chemical pure.
