We feel fortunate to introduce ourselves as a company engaged in cultivation, processing, supplying and exporting of organic foods like black pepper, white pepper, turmeric whole, turmeric powder, clove, green cardamom, cocoa beans, dried cashew nuts, black tea, green tea, black coffee, curry mix, indian pickles, natural honey and fruit jam. Our company, Plantrich has witnessed tremendous growth and has traversed long path in the development and promotion of organic farming. In our effort, we have been ably guided by our mentor, Mr. Bijumon Kurian, who has adequate experience in this field. 
 
Our activity is not only restricted in offering qualitative organic foods but also actively supporting and guiding agriculturist of organic farming. We conduct regular training sessions for the farming communities and make them acquainted with methods in the area of plantation, group farming and to organize organic production of certified produces.
 
We are the proud recipient of Kamal Patra Award in the field of Bio Technology. Moreover, we adhere to sustainable practices and offer organic foods which are more nutritious and devoid of chemical residues.

In our endeavor to minimize the environmental and health problems associated with agriculture, we have ventured into organic farming and offering organic food products. We use seeds of premium quality procured from reliable vendors for the plantation of food crops. While in the preparation of jams and pickles, we use fresh fruits and vegetables. Our quality inspectors procure qualitative seeds which are treated with different bio friendly pesticides before plantation. Moreover, they conduct regular inspection to ensure that the foods are processed in hygienic environment and are packed securely. Their efforts have enabled us to offer products which conform to BS and EN standard.

 
Our quality experts visit the farm area and check the soil for:

• Carbon/nitrogen ratio
• pH of the soil
• Content of nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium
• Presence of pathogens or any infection on plants

We have set up a sound research and development unit where we our research associates carries on research activities to make the necessary inputs in the practice of organic farming. We have necessary tools and equipment in the research and development unit which facilitates us carrying out research in following areas:

We have acquired a fertile tract of land to undertake cultivation of plants through organic farming. The farm land has the adequate facility for irrigation and is regularly ploughed to maintain and enhance their fertility. We use organic fertilizers and manures, bio pesticides and bio herbicides during the plantation and the cultivation of the varied types of food crops. 
 
In addition, we have a state-of the-art factory at Industrial Estate Manarcadu, Kottayam. Our factory is well equipped with latest tools and equipment used in processing the food. The production unit is regularly cleaned and special emphasis is given on the sanitation and hygiene to ensure that the harvested and processed foods do not get contaminated.
 
We have capacious warehouse which is regularly cleaned and fumigated to store the finished products in safe and hygienic environment.

We aim to make the world aware of the importance of organic farming and build an environment devoid of pollutants. In our endeavor to become a centre of knowledge and learning which is deeply involved in the betterment of farm practices, we offer training and consultancy services to farmers, farm houses, cooperatives and anyone who wishes to be a part of the organic farming movement. In addition, we have been into collaboration with Changanacherry Social Service Society (CHASS) which enables us to provide appropriate agricultural services.
 
We have set up Global Organic Advisory Cell (GOAC) to provide information about organic farming and making the farm groups updated with prices. Our experts provide consultation to the overseas clients and trade delegates regarding organic farming in the country. This cell actively works and is engaged into:
