ANALYSIS OF POWER CONSUMPTION IN AXIAL FLOW FANS
POLY FANS has developed axial flow propeller type fan blade having variable pitch which are aerodynamically designed to achieve minimum 85% efficiency. Latest range of aerofoil section facilitate higher lift to drag ratio and larger chord width along with blade twist and FRP as a material of construction gives better surface finish and lower profile drag losses, resulting in higher efficiency of the Fan.
In the axial flow system, total efficiency of fan power is the ratio of actual presser developed
to the theoretical pressure. The analysis of power consumption of the fan is enumerated blow:
