About Us

Polyformalin has been providing the plywood industry in South India with high quality UF Urea Formaldehyde and PF Phenol Formaldehyde resins since 1965. The company went in for backward integration and has been manufacturing formaldehyde since 1975. Most of the formaldehyde is used for captive consumption in the production of resins, but we also market value-added products, such as plastics and tyre-grade formalin. Arborites Private Limited was merged into Polyformalin (P) Ltd. in 2006 to take advantage of economies of scale. Its registered office is at Poonithura on the outskirts of Kochi on NH 49 along the banks of the Chitrapuzha river.

The company is run by its founder and Managing Director C.V. Paul assisted by executive director K.O.Joseph and a staff of experienced technical personnel with a combined experience of more than a 200 man-years in production of high quality and time-tested resins and formalin products.
