Popsynthol LIQUOR  793SN

A fully synthetic fatliquor based on saturated hydrocarbons.

 

Popsynthol Liquor 793SN is a fully synthetic lubricant having excellent light fastness, ideally suited for fatliquoring of variety of leathers based on cow, buffalo, cow and buff calf, goat and sheep.

 

Characteristics :

Chemical nature     : Anionic synthetic fat liquor based on aliphatic hydrocarbons.

Apearance               : Clear light brown free-flowing liquid.

Active Matter           : 65% (+ 2)

pH of 10% solution : 6.5 to 7.5

 

Properties :

Popsynthol Liquor 793SN gives extremely fine disperse emulsions capable of deep penetration into the leather. It has good emulsifying capacity and improves the stability and homogenity of fatliquoring emulsions.

 

Popsynthol  Liquor 793SN is stable to hard water, weak acids and alkalies.

 

Popsynthol Liquor 793SN possesses excellent light fastness and has no effect on anionic dyestuffs.

 

Popsynthol Liquor 793SN is a unique product which penetrates well inside the leather cross-section within a short span of time. It makes leather uniformly soft and supple.

 

Popsynthol Liquor 793SN avoids formation of spews on the leather surface.

 

Applications :

Popsynthol Liquor 793SN can be recommended for fatliquoring all types of leathers i.e. nubuck, suede, gloving softly, upper, garment leather from cow, sheep, goat skins. Efficiency of Popsynthol Liquor 793SN is not at all hampered when it is blended with other fatliquors.

Storage should be away from extreme conditions wherever possible. Under extreme climatic conditions this product may separate slightly. So it should always be well

POPSYNTHOL SSL

Anionic synthetic fatliquor based on sulphochlorinated paraffin-wax.

 

Popsynthol SSL is anionic synthetic lubricant having excellent light fastness, suitable for all types of leather.

 

Characteristics :

Appearance              : Clear light brown liquid.

Chemical  Nature    : Anionic synthetic product based on sulphoclorinated paraffin

                                 wax. Free of natural fats and mineral oil.

Active Matter           : 65% approx.

pH  of 10% solution       : 6.0 approx.

Stability                  : Stable to acid, alkalies and hard water.

 

Properties :

Popsynthol SSL can be used in all purpose fat liquoring for all types of leather. It is also suitable as anionic component of multicharge fatliquors.

Popsynthol SSL penetrates rapidly and deeply into the leather and helps the uptake of ther fatliquors.

                     Synthetic fatliquor for white and very soft leathers    

 

Popsynthol BW 38 produces a fat liquoring effect very similar to fatliquoring products based on natural sperm oil.

Popsynthol BW 38 possesses excellent light fastness and has no effect on aniline dyes.

 

Popsynthol BW 38 has a strong emulsifying power and is ideal for any quality leather. Desired softness can be achieved making the leather light in weight.

 

Popsynthol BW 38 is recommended for gloving and clothing leathers where both softness and surface feel are essential.

Popsynthol BW 38 can be recommended for fat liquoring all types of leather, especially for softy upper, nappa, lining, glazed kid upper, aniline buff calf, garment and bag leathers.

Storage should be away from extreme conditions. Under extreme climatic conditions this product may separate slightly. So it should be always well-stirred  immediately prior to use. Storage life is about one year under normal conditions and temperatures.

Popsynthol GLN

Anionic Fatliquor with lanolin component for high degree of softness coupled with fullness and pleasant handle.

 

Appearance             : Light reddish brown viscous liquid.

Odour                     : Typical Lanolinic

pH of 10% solution : 7.5 + ( 0.5)

Active Matter           : 60%

Light Fastness        : Satisfactory

Stability                  : Stable to hard water, weak acid, weak alkalies,                                                           electrolytes, anionic and non-ionic fat liquor and syntans                                             normally used in tannery operations.

 

Properties :

·         Popsynthol  GLN is right combination of properly synthesised lanolin and other fatty acids which imparts a thorough fatliquoring with nourishing effect and smooth silky surface touch when used as main fatliquor for nappa class of leather.

·         Popsynthol  GLN possesses excellent compatibility with sulphonated, sulphited, bi-sulphited fatliquor and in combination, it induces excellent body into the fatliqour mix and increases spreadability of the resultant emulsion. It also regulates water uptake of the fatliquor blend. It always should be mixed with at least 1:4 proportion of water with constant stirring to achieve finer particle size of its emulsion. We recommend to add Popsynthol  GLN into water with constant stirring.

·         Popsynthol  GLN helps in quick penetration of dyestuff and has no effect on shade.

 

Applications :

·         Popsynthol  GLN can be recommended for fatliquoring all types of leather i.e. from softy upper to very soft nappa or upholstery leather.

·         Popsynthol  GLN is also suitable for pre-fatliquoring for even penetration and  distribution of syntans and vegetable extracts during retanning.

·         As main fatliquor Popsynthol  GLN  is  suitable for all types of leather. For softy upper types of leather, 2% Popssynthol  GLN gives good softness, fullness, good touch and helps to reduce the risk of looseness.

·         For nappa type of leather Popsynthol  GLN could be used upto 10% for achieving excellent softness, fluffiness and  pleasant handle on the surface.

 

Popsoft GSIN Cationic fatliquor of high light fastness and stability to electrolytes. 

Popsoft GSIN is a weakly cation-active fatliquor which is very versatile in application because of its high electrolyte stability. It may be used

·         in chrome tanning to give rapid, uniform through-tanning, and for its lubricating properties.

·         as the main fatliquor for chrome tanned suede leather.

• as a top fatliquor for grain leathers. It enhances both softness and fullness and gives the leather, especially when used as a top fatliquor, a smooth, pleasing handle.

Properties :

Appearance                              : white soft paste.

Chemical Character                 : fatty acid condensation product.

Ionic nature                             : cationic

pH  of 10% emulsion               : 4-5

Light fastness                          : very good.

Storage stability                       : virtually unlimited.

Stability                                   : Stability to solutions of acids and salts very good but restricted to solutions of alkalis.

Compatible with nonionic, cationic and weakly anionic substances. Emulsion is stable in hard water also.

Application :

Because of its high electrolyte stability, Popsoft GSIN  can be used without difficulty even in liquors with a high electrolyte content.

In chrome tannages

Popsoft GSIN  promotes the distribution  of  the  chrome  and  accelerates thorough tanning thus increasing the softness and fullness of the leather. It also acts as a lubricant and prevents thin leathers from becoming entangled when tanning at short liquor ratios.

The product is added at beginning of the tanning process or even in the pickle.

Odourless fish oil based chrome stable fatliquor.

Appearance : Slightly viscous light brown emulsion. Chemical Type : Sulphited high quality fish oil.
Active Matter : 80% (±2) pH of 10% solution : 7.5 ±(0.5)
Ionic charge : Anionic in nature.
Stability : Stable to acid, alkali, salt and mineral tanning agents.

Properties

• Popsynthoil LF-10 is an all purpose anionic fat liquor for high degree of softness suitable for chrome and Semi Chrome as well as for vegetable tanned leathers. It is easily emulsifiable in water at normal temperature.
• Leather treated with Popsynthoil LF-10 not only possesses softness and . suppleness, but also, good tensile strength and water resistance. It imparts instant softness without high fat addition to the leather when it is partly incorporated in neutralization. We recommend 0.5-2.0% Popsynthoil LF-10
  in neutralization, depending upon the degree of softness required.
• Popsynthoil LF-10 can also be used in rechroming prior to the addition of chrome powder to get extra softness and better chrome exhaustion. It has inherent properties, to open leather fibres and to. produce a fluffy, soft and round leather.
• Popsynthoil LF-10 has no effect on aniline dyes. It is satisfactorily fast to light and does not impart any yellowing to leather under normal conditions.

Applications

• Due to its excellent versatile properties, it can be used on a wide variety of leathers e.g. lining, upper, softies, upholstery, nappa, glove, clothing, etc. To avail its maximum efficacy to achieve desired softness, we recommend Popsynthoil LF-10 to be used stage wise i.e. in re-chroming, neutralization as well as in main fat liquoring.

Synthetic, Light Fast Fatliquor.

Appearance . Clear yellow coloured liquid.
Ionic Nature : Anionic. pH of 10% solution : 7.5 _+ 1. Active Matter . 60% _+ 1.
Stability : Stable to electrolytes in usual concentrations. Emulsion stability is excellent even in hard water.
Compatibility : Compatible with anionic dyes, fatliquors as well as synthetic and vegetable tanning agents. Dissolution . Easily emulsifiable in hot or cold water.
Fastness to Light : Good.

Properties:

Popsynth 1104NQ is highly penetrative fatliquor which imparts excellent softness to leather. It also provides pleasant handle and smoothness to the leather surface. . Popsynth 1104NQ imparts required degree of softness and fullness without making the grain loose. Popsynth 1104NQ is designed specially for the sophisticated class of leather which require soft feel with light weight.

Application :

• Popsynth 1104NQ is suitable for all types of leather, specially to make softy upper, lining, D.D. without looseness.
• Popsynth 1104NQ is specially suitable for nubuck, garment, nappa, drymill, upholstery, etc. as it gives excellent softness with light weight.

Storage stabilty :

Popsynth 1104NQ can be stored for about one year under normal conditions and temperatures.
The product should always be stirred before use as a precautionary measure due to
temperature changes.

Anionic , Semi-Synthetic fatliquor. Popsynthol MKV liquidis a versatile fatliquor combinable with all fatliquors and capable of producing leathers with inner softness of excellent level .

Chemical nature : Anionic, based on synthetic oils , modified vegetable oil,
esters of fatty substances and monohydric alcohol sulphited .
Active Matter : 65% Approx.
pH of 10% solution : 7 +/- 1
Stability : Stable in week acids, salt, hard water and vegetable tannin.

Applications :

Popsynthol MKV Liquid can be recommended for fatliquoring softy leather, cow dry milled, buff upper, sheep nappa and split suedes.
