About Us

POTHYS Clothing Private Limited is a part of the multifaceted Pothys Group. Set in motion with men’s clothing line, OTTO saw light in 1997 at Tirunelveli. It primarily catered to in-house requirements of readymade garments for its group retail stores Pothys at Srivilliputhur and Tirunelveli.

As Otto generated sales and its popularity increased, Pothys Clothing expanded its operations and base to Chennai supplying Otto to a lot of other retailers. The Company went on to spice up its portfolio by launching Soda and Clarke Gable to cater to the demands of the various segments in the garments industry. All its brands of shirts and trousers are now being retailed through most of the leading outlets in South India. Success down South took the brands to the North and are now making their presence felt there too.

Pothys Clothing's shirts and trousers are exported to the Middle East in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, the Far East and the Emerald Isle of Sri Lanka. Pothys Clothing is in pursuit of new global opportunities.

Pothys Clothing's fully integrated state of the art manufacturing facility was commissioned at Sriperumbudur near Chennai. This hi-tech factory in an area spanning six acres laced with greenery and a lot of open space and is self sufficient in all fronts. This facility manufactures 4,000 pieces of shirts and trousers daily.

Pothys Clothing Private Limited is headed by S Ramesh, Managing Director and the day to day activities are taken care of under the able leadership of its Director S Pothyraj. He is assisted by R Jaisheel - Chief Exports, P Balaji-Head Finance and V Niranjan - Head Marketing.
