These gauges are installed on power packs, hydraulic machinery, pumps, compressors, power plants, pipelines and transmission stations, where vibration & pulsation are destructive factors. Glycerine filling makes the difference, the movement is submerged and constantly lubricated. The damaging effect of pulsation and vibration is minimised and pointer flutter is virtually eliminated because both the liquid filling and a restrictor screw in the socket help in dampening pulsation.

Mass make single/double snap action magnetic Electrical Contact Pressure Gauges that are available in 100 mm & 150 mm dial sizes. These gauges serve for the measurement and control of pressure by switching on and off the electrical equipment. Thus, eliminates the need of separate switches for equipment such as pumps, motors, turbines, blowers for audio/visual alarms for signalling irregularities. These contacts may be used under almost all operating conditions that are largely immune to vibration. The contact pin carrier of the indicator is equipped with an adjustable magnet, which attracts the contact arm just prior to reaching the indicator. This prevents arcing and burning of contact pins.

a.) Electrical contact can be used up to 380 volts AC/DC and switching capacity up to 30 watts/50 va. The current rating must not exceed 1 amp.

 

b.) Function:

The adjustable contact arms P & Q can be set from outside individually by a knob at any required set point. The limit value switch is designed in a way so that the instrument pointer can continue its movement beyond the set pointer after the contact has been made.

c.) Contact design:

Electrical magnetic contacts are carefully designed since they are subject to hard wear during use according to switching conditions. Because of the mechanical stress, the influence of current heat and the electric arc.

MASS make Test & Master Gauges that are designed for use as a reference gauge for recalibrating general service gauges, transmitters and other pressure operated instruments. Reading error caused by paralax is eliminated by aligning the knife edge tip pointer with its reflection in the mirror band on the gauge.

'Mass1' make Single Diaphragm Differential Pressure Gauges that are used to measure the pressure difference between two lines that are directly indicated on dial. For range up to 6000 mm wc maximum static pressure is 25 kg/cm2 and for ranges 1 kg/cm2 to 10 kg/cm2 maximum static pressure is 40 kg/cm2. We also offer a quality assured range of Bellow Differential Pressure Gauges. The pressure element of these instruments has two S.S. 316 bellows, balance mounted. The value shown on the dial is the difference between two input pressure or depressions coming in to each bellow. These are entirely made of S.S. 316 wetted parts, therefore they offer the same corrosion resistance (inside and outside) as the bourdon pressure gauges. Moreover, the mechanical resistance of the bellows allows important one-sided overpressure as compared to the differential pressure (up to 20 times in some cases). All differential pressure gauges are used for measurements of flow, level, filter clogging, pressure drop measurement and air conditioner & chemical processor.

Diaphragm gauges are suitable for measuring pressure of all kind of fluid and gaseous medium. The measuring element is a sensitive corrugated diaphragm fixed between two flanges. For slurry and viscous liquids flanged connections can also be incorporated. Low Pressure Bellow Capsule Gauge are designed for non-corrosive and non-aggresive application.

These Gauges have bellow capsule which is composed of two corrugated metal discs of Brass / Stainless Steel joined by brazing / argon arc welding. A rise pressure will cause the corrugated Capsule / Diaphragms to expand and this motion is transferred to the indicator through sector, pinion movement mechanism. A similar type of low pressure built-in capsule gauge can also be offered having almost similar kind of mechanism.
