Bending Machine

Our pyramid type plate bending machine is ideal for bending MS plates to roll cylinders and thereby fabrication of pipes, semicircle pipes, cones etc. Our machine can be customized as per the requirement of our clients. Based on pyramid principle this machine is fabricated with heavy section base, welded structure. Our robust, heavy construction and maintenance free plate bending machine can withstand all working conditions. Further, the rolls are of carbon forged steel which assures it can stand wear and tear. Some of the technical specifications are described below :

• Guaranteed machine frames with removable rolled cylinder. The top Roll is held cantilever by a screw jack arrangement
• Gears fitted in heavy duty roller/ball bearings and bottom rolls in cast iron bushes
• Driving motor of Standard Make with reverse forward control panel.
• Correct working height from floor, for ease of operation.
• Two stage Geared reduction , first by Worm Gear Box and later by spur gear.
• Self balanced machine, no foundation necessary .
• Indicators are available at both ends for correct parallel top roll pressure
• Horizontal grooves provided on the bottom rolls for correct parallel feeding of the plate throughout the length and giving additional gripping for getting correct shape, pipe etc. For bending light gauge sheets, top roll positive drive is required.
  
• Initial pinching not necessary up to 5 mm. plates
• Machine runs at a very slow speed, thus full control on bending curvatures is attained perfectly
• Top roll can be raised/ lowered by two hand operated pressure screws
• Top roll to be adjusted by hand screw jack for removal of end bracket
• Bottom rolls are fixed and roll the plate and the top roll is lowered for pressing the plate to form a cylinder
• Centre roller supports below the bottom rolls are provided for vibration free working
• Top roll can be tilted for conical bending.

Drive :

Geared drives for plate bending machine is fabricated using forged steel blanks. Gears are manufactured by Hobbing process for longevity & durability. These are also fitted with reduction worm gear box unit with -oil bath system, totally enclosed for dust free operation.

Our 3 roll plate bending machine is based on latest technology and offers high working capacity that depends on plate tensile strength of 45 Kg/mm2.
