Fatty Amines find application as internal/external lubricant/dispersing agent which aids in polymer production. Other than this, it also assists in stabilizing dispersion of solid compounding materials which enhances process ability, decreases abrasion & friction of polymer surface as well as assists in achieving superior color stability. Also aiding in corrosion prevention, it is also used as lubricants, dispersants and water treatment agents.

 

Applications:

 

  • As cationic surfactants including in form of germicide, leveling agents, disinfectants, wood preservatives, fungicides, hair rinse bases and oth3rs
  • As amine oxides and amphoteric surfactants including in form of textile scouring agent, antistatic agent, foam booster, liquid detergent, as oil recovery agent

Tallow Diamine comprises hard fat with constituents of glyceryl esters of palmitic, oleic and stearic acid. Being extracted through fatty animal deposits around kidneys of animals like cattle, sheep, it finds use in the production of end products like leather dressings, soaps, lubricants, candles, food and others. Some of its properties include molecular formula RNH2 of (R is fatty-alkyl), molecular weight of 265, CAS No of 61790-33-8, Hazard classification of 8, Amine value of 205-220 mg/g, Moisture content of 0.5 max % and availability in packing of 160 Kg in galvanized steel drum.

Coco Amine is known by synonym of COCO AMINE; Einecs 262-977-1 and comes with CAS No of 8035-00-5. Made available in distilled grade, it is available in colorless clear liquid form. Some of its properties include Chemical Formula of RNH4, Spec No of CCA/2008-09, Hazard classification of 8, Amine Content of 95 – 98 Min% and Moisture Content of 0.5 Min %. It is produced from fat deposits of animals, especially from fat tissues build up around kidney area of sheep and cattle.
