ReagentsProcedure
1 N HClAdd 106 ml of 30% distilled/AR grade acid to 894 ml of distilled water. Mix well and keep the solution for some time. Mix again and standardise after 15 minutes

Standardization: By means of weighing bottle transfer 1.8 to 2.2 gram of oven dried AR grade Na2CO3 in 250 ml clean glass beaker. Add 50ml of freshly boiled and cold distilled water and dissolve the material by means of glass rod. Titrate this against 1 N HCl to be standardised using ''A'' grade burette and 5 drops of methyle orange indicator

Colour changes from yellow to light red. Note down the burette reading (BR)
0.1 N. HClPipette out 50ml of 1 N HCl into 500ml of columerised flask and dilute to 500ml
PhenophtheleinDissolve 0.1 gram of phenophthalein in 60 ml of ethyle alcohol. Make up the volume to 100ml with distilled water
Methyle OrangeDissolve 0.1 gram of methyle orange in 100ml of distilled water
ApplicationsUsed in a variety of industries such as

Soda Ash

Soda Ash is the common name for the technical grade of anhydrous Sodium Carbonate (Na2CO3). It is produced in two standard forms - Light and Dense and graded according to its bulk density.

We are concerned about our customers in the various industries ranging from soap, glass, sodium salts and dyes. While the glass industry is the largest consumer of Soda Ash, the demand for Soda Ash from GHCL India, is preferred by detergent companies for its high solubility in hot and cold water. GHCL's Soda Ash is also widely used in the manufacture of sodium salts widely used in food products.

GHCL's premium quality soda ash is characterized by: :
• High solubility in hot and cold water.
• Very low iron.
• Low chloride.
• Whiteness.
• Free flowing.
• Uniform particle size distribution
• Freshly calcined ash that is free from lumps at the time of packing.

Stable Bleaching Powder

VIKRAM SBP is Calcium Hypochlorite containing above 34% Chlorine and is a powerful oxidizing agent. It is stable for a longer period of time i.e. very low losses of available Chlorine over extended period of time, when properly stored even under changing climatic conditions. This is because of low moisture content in the product and absence of heavy metal impurities in the raw material. Above all the best quality Hydrated Lime and the Chlorine generated from its own plant are used in the manufacture of VIKRAM SBP.
