It is the oldest and most developed science of natural healing system in the world. Ayurveda consists in itself the treasure of medicines and treatment procedures that are 5000 yrs old and originated in India.

The word ‘Ayurveda’ came into existence by conjunction of two Sanskrit words ‘ayur’ and ‘veda’.Word ‘ayur’ means life and ‘veda’; means knowledge/science. When brought together, the word means science of life.

Today, Ayurveda is known not just for healing but a way to achieve a perfect balance between the body; mind and spirit. It is basically based on theory of Tridoshas namely VATA, PITTA & KAPHA (three body types or Prakriti) and five elements. These are the three primary forces present in the human being that governs overall functional system in human body. Imbalance & disorder of these elements in the body is responsible for occurrence of various diseases in a body structure.

These five elements are:

• Earth (Prithvi)

• Water (Jal)

• Fire (Agni)

• Air (Vayu)

• Ether (Akash)

As per ayurvedic science, the human body is a combination of Tri Doshas, Sapt Dhatus and Tri Malas that are malas created by functions of Dhatus with Dhatus created by Doshas. There are seven Dhatus/ Tissues in our body. These include:

• Rasa-Plasma, lymph

• Rakta-blood

• Mamsa-flesh, muscular tissue

• Meda-adipose tissue

• Asthi-bone

• Majja-nervous tissue

• Shukra- reproductive tissues/hormones

These Dhatus play an important role in the building of body infrastructure. Acting as an eliminating substance, there are 3 Malas namely urine, stool and sweat. There proper and timely secretion plays an important part in maintaining health and proper functioning of a body.

We carry out rational Ayurveda treatments in two parts:

• Samsamna or curative treatment

• Samsodhana or purification Therapy

Panchkarma treatment is used for removing toxins from the body. This procedure not only stops production of Ama /Toxins but also helps in eliminating toxins/Ama present in body by bringing it back to digestive track.

We - Premadhar Research Institute & Hospital also provide free two way conveyance & treatment facility within the 10 km. area around the hospital province to employed as well as retired Delhi Govt. Employees.

• 100% free treatment for freedom fighters

• 10% rebate for senior citizens
