About Us

PREMIER TISSUES INDIA LIMITED (formerly PREMIER ARYCO INDIA LIMITED) was incorporated in the year 1998 by Mr. G G SHENOY.

Premier Tissues India Limited was initially started in a leased premise in Bangalore for the manufacture of specialty tissue paper products in technical collaboration with M/s. Nibong Tebal Paper Mills SDN, BHD, (NTPM), Malaysia.

The company established a tissue paper converting unit in a leased premises at Bangalore, as per international standards of operations with technical assistance from NTPM, Malaysia. Initially, the company imported Jumbo Rolls from Malaysia, which were converted into various tissue paper products such as facial tissues, toilet tissue rolls, napkins etc and sold at national level through a dedicated national network of distributors. The turnover which was about Rs 35 lakhs in 1998-99, jumped to Rs 4 Crores by 2001-02. The company started exploring the export markets also by exporting to countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Srilanka and Maldives. In this phase, the company established its name as a quality manufacturer of tissue paper products and its PREMIER brand was well received all over India.

Obsessed with a passion for growth, the company in November 2002, acquired its own paper mill factory land and buildings near Mysore for setting up a tissue paper mill for the manufacture of tissue paper as a backward integration. The factory premises comprising 5.5 hectares of land with 3500 sq. meters of built up area is situated near the banks of river Cauvery. The company has established the 8 TPD tissue paper mill in a record time of six months , with machinery imported from Taiwan. The converting unit was shifted from Bangalore to the paper mill complex and the company is now equipped with a state-of-the-art, fully integrated manufacturing plant to manufacture a wide of range of quality tissue products. It has also made a foray into the European markets with exports to UK during 2004.

To keep pace with the growth and to meet the fast developing tissue market, the company has now set up a second tissue paper mill of 16 TPD capacity. The expansion is planned keeping in view the demand for tissues in Domestic as well as Export Market. The company is planning for a sales target of about Rs 50 crores sales by the year 2008-2009.The Company sells its products under the Brand name of PREMIER and ROYAL.
