Some time back the Andhra Pradesh government imposed a ban on HDPE pipes for its usage in rural water supply schemes, as several companies supplied defective HDPE pipes. But we persuaded the governing authorities to remove the ban by giving them information about the benefits of HDPE pipes and the quality consciousness of our company. We also accepted a difficult challenge of replacing defective HDPE pipes in 1985 that were supplied by other organizations. This was the CPWS scheme for 81 villages in Prakasham District and was commenced under Netherlands Aided Programme. Based on our vast resources, we restored about 200km of HDPE pipes in fluoride affected area at Darsi, Podli in Prakasham District.

“Premier Plastic Industries” was founded by ‘Shri K.N. Agarwal’. His immense experience in this field dates back in 1955, when he implemented water supply systems in the rural area by using RCC and allied pipes. He figured out that HDPE pipes were among the best available options for rural water supply schemes and got inspired to set up a HDPE pipe plant. The plant came into existence in 1981 and the commercial production was initiated in 1982. Since than, he have never looked back and moved ahead with full vigor and force with the motto “Quality is the key to success” His belief has been further passed on to his sons, Shri Ravinder Agarwal, a Chemical Engineer and Shri Raj Kumar Agarwal, who joined the firm in 1980 and 1976 respectively.
