brings Delhi University admissions info on Internet
(June
12, 1999): The CBSE results are out and the most
talked about upcoming event amongst students just passed from
their schools is admissions in colleges. For the first time,
complete information on admissions in Delhi University is being
made available on the Net. 'Bharat on-line', MTNL's portal site,
created by Intermesh Systems has a complete section
(http://bol.net.in/duadmissions) devoted to the issue.
The site— www.bol.net.in/duadmissions
offers detailed information including important dates for
admission to various courses in colleges, schedules, last years
cut-off in various colleges for all the courses. The site not
only gives details on undergraduate courses, but also provides
tentative schedule for admission to various post-graduate
courses in Faculty of Arts/ Social/ Commerce and Business/
Mathematical Sciences etc. for the academic session 1999-2000, including
dates for registration and admission tests, if any. The site
will be duly updated on information regarding the upcoming
session's cut-off and admission lists. The site will also
display the latest press releases issued by the University
authorities.
This is another feather in the cap of MTNL's 'Bharat On-line',
the first one being it section on World Cup cricket which is
delighting the cricket fans by offering ball by ball updates of
ongoing matches along with a host of other interesting features
on the game.
