High Pressure Washers

High pressure washer is a high pressure reciprocating plunger pump that uses high pressure water jet to remove mold, grime, dust, mud and dirt from surfaces and objects such as buildings, vehicles and concrete road surfaces. A high pressure washer is also known as power pressure washer.

High pressure washers direct a high-pressure stream or jet of water against a surface to clean, descale, degrease or prepare a surface. Pressure washers may use either cold water or hot water and steam to perform their function, and the water is often mixed with various cleansers, detergents or solvents. They are used for surface cleaning, or for the demolition of products made of metal, wood, concrete, stone, plastic, glass or other building materials.

High pressure washers are available as complete machines or systems, or they can be purchased in component form and built from the ground up, or to replace worn out parts. water blast wheel, and water storage tank.

The gun or lance directs the stream fluid through a nozzle and at the appropriate region of the work piece. Some water pressure washers have wear resistant nozzles and optional abrasive injectors to provide wet sandblasting capability. PressureJet also offers hot water pressure washer. 

Several different types of nozzles are available, each useful for a particular application. Some nozzles cause the water jet to be ejected in a triangular plane, while others emit a pencil-thin jet of water, which spirals around rapidly. Most nozzles attach directly to the trigger gun.

Some pressure washers, in combination with a particular nozzle, allow detergent to be introduced into the water stream, assisting in the cleaning process. Two types of chemical injectors are available: a low-pressure injector and a high pressure injector.

The pumping unit is the pressure generator used to force out the carrier fluid at high velocity. Plunger-type high pressure pumps are commonly used to generate high pressure water for water jet cleaning and wet or water abrasive blasting for non-abrasive pressure washing or rinsing. Crankshaft driven plunger pumps are commonly used for pressure generation. Crankshaft driven plunger pumps may be more efficient in electrical energy costs compared to intensifiers. Crankshaft driven plunger pumps also provide a virtually ripple free pressure source in comparison to intensifiers. Dust collection or filtration systems remove fine particle sizes of abrasive, swarf, grease or other blasting waste (removed scale or stock in the form of dust or fine swarf) that would otherwise contaminate the environment.

Water tanks or hoppers are used by water pressure washers for the storage of dry abrasive grains, blasting media or abrasive-water slurry mixtures.

Hydrojetting, commonly known as waterblasting, is a widespread abrasive water discharge operation. As such, it is very successful because of its powerful blasting effect. In most cases, because of its efficiency, waterblaster will require only one operator for a given application.

Pressure and Flow both play key roles in an efficient high pressure hydrojetting water blaster cleaner and applications respond differently to each variable. Typically, hardened deposits respond better to higher pressures, and softer materials are best removed with higher flows. Each application is unique, though, and we can help you determine which combination of pressure and flow will work best for you.

Aqua blasting uses high pressure stream of water (450 bar or more) to remove old paint, rust, rubber, chemicals, or other heavy build up without causing damage to the surface below it. Water jet blasting (hydro blasting) method is perfect for internal and external surfaces because the spray gun operator is able to access those “hard to reach” areas (such as pipelines). Also, because of strong water spray of waterblaster, the user can keep a safe distance from the surface being cleaned. One of the major differences between water blasting and other cleaning abrasives is the ability to contain, capture, filter and reuse the water. This eliminates waste water and contaminants after the cleaning. Extremely high pressure hydro jetting systems (2800 bar or greater) are used for concrete cutting. Due to the high removal and cleaning power, these hydroblasting pumps and equipments pay for themselves after a very short period of time. Hydro blasting equipments are ideal for specialized service providers, construction companies, renovators and for industry.

Hydrostatic Pressure Test Pump

Hydrostatic pressure testing is a common procedure used to performance verifies a fluid pressure vessel, such as, cylinders, boiler or tubes hydrostatic pressure test.

Hydrostatic Pressure Test Pumps are also a common testing procedure to verify pressure vessels do not leak or have manufacturing flaws. Hydrostatic pressure test pumps & unit is important for pressure vessels in the interest of device safety, and durability under operating pressure. Hydro-static pressure testing is a technique to identify leaks within low pressure vessels and devices such as pipes and plumbing as well.

Hydrostatic hydrotest is normally conducted under industry and/or customer requirements or specifications. Typical requirements are as follows:

The pressure vessel to be tested is located within a sealed vessel, the sealed vessel is filled with a incompressible fluid, typically water or oil. The test vessel is then subjected to a known internal pressure for a known duration. The known internal pressure is normally a significant percent greater than the maximum operating pressure of the device (typically 150%). The applied pressure causes the test vessel to expand, instrumentation, which is already in place, are then read to determine the total and permanent expansion that the test chamber (external) undergoes. A physical and visual inspection then follows the hydrostatic pressure test to determine that the device being tested has not been damaged or permanently distorted due to the test pressure.

Pressure vessels may be re-verified by subjecting the vessel device to a proof-pressure test. The proof-pressure test is commonly referred to as a "modified hydrostatic test". The pressure vessel is subjected to a known pressure for a predetermined time. During and following the proof-pressure test, the pressure vessel is inspected for abnormal distortion or failure.

For large volume of hydro test combine hydrostatic pressure testing unit is most preferred solution. This hydrostatic pressure testing equipment is compact, efficient & cost effective, available in different combinations of pressure and flow. The unique automatic hydro test controller is a standard feature of this system. Otherwise also for large quantity, automatic hydrotest controller is very useful to improve productivity thru even a Kay man.  

Though theoretically water is considered as non compressible fluid, it requires considerable amount of feeding to raise the pressure.

“How much water is to be injected to raise certain pressure?” and “What time will it take to reach up to desire pressure?” are typical questions, asked by majority customers who are inquiring about high pressure hydro test pumps. It depends upon the following

  • Initial pressure from which we start feeding the water
  • Total Volume of the equipment

HIGH PRESSURE FEED PUMP FOR SPLITTING PROCESS

In Oleochem industries, oil is to be splitted and converted into crude fatty acid. This oil splitting process requires counter flow of oil and water at high temperature & pressure.

From one end, oil is fed into the splitting tower under pressure with the help of a high pressure triplex plunger pump through a heat exchanger, wherein its temperature is raised upto 230 to 250º C. From another end, water after passing through a heat exchanger and raising its temperature to 250º C is passed to the splitting tower under pressure by a high pressure pump. This process is called as hydrolysis process. Oil starts splitting into fatty acid and glycerol. The later gets mixed with water, whereas; density difference separates the former being light in weight.

Water jetting, commonly known as hydro blasting, is a widespread abrasive water discharge operation. As such, water jet pump is very successful because of its powerful blasting effect. In most cases, because of its efficiency, hydroblasting will require only one operator for a given application.

Pressure and Flow both play key roles in an efficient high pressure water blasting system and applications respond differently to each variable. Typically, hardened deposits respond better to higher pressures, and softer materials are best removed with higher flows. Each application is unique, though, and we can help you determine which combination of pressure and flow will work best for you.

Aqua blasting uses high pressure stream of water (450 bar or more) to remove old paint, rust, rubber, chemicals, or other heavy build up without causing damage to the surface below it. Water jet blasting (hydro blasting) method is perfect for internal and external surfaces because the spray gun operator is able to access those “hard to reach” areas (such as pipelines). Also, because of strong water spray of waterblaster, the user can keep a safe distance from the surface being cleaned. One of the major differences between water blasting and other cleaning abrasives is the ability to contain, capture, filter and reuse the water. This eliminates waste water and contaminants after the cleaning. Extremely high pressure water jet pumps (2800 bar or greater) are used for concrete cutting. Due to the high removal and cleaning power, these water jet pumps pay for themselves after a very short period of time. Water Jetting Sewer Cleaning Jetter Machine

Sewer jetter / drain jetter / gutter cleaning is the process of using water jetting sewer cleaning jetter machine to bring a sewer drain line back to like-new condition without having to actually replace the line. This is very cost-effective practice, as well as a nearly effortless task- especially for sewer cleaning that are heavily used, even for grease.

Sometimes a simple unclogging could do but after masses of build-up and too frequent blockages, perhaps a good sewer jetting would be a more effective method that will also last plenty longer. Pressure Jet’s high pressure water jetting cleaning machines are completely suitable to achieve all above cleaning results, because these pumps are rugged in construction, have medium speed and perform to the entire satisfaction of the customer.

There are special high pressure piston and plunger pumps, designed specifically for this purpose, called sewer jetters. They can clean the pipes leading from sinks and bathtubs leading to the tanks, even those at long distances, which is especially helpful in the case of industrial piping. The Water jetting sewer cleaning work at a high pressure, between 150-300 bar and 12-400 lpm.

The pressure can be adjusted throughout the job as needed. These machines use a special nozzle that gets down into the drains to loosen and cuts the clogged materials that are obstructing the pathways. This essentially scours the pipes clean and then washes the debris back up to be removed, usually through a vacuum pump.
