     Super fine grinding & size reduction  process 

APPLICATION PROCESS:

 

The bead mill/ sand mills are widely used in pint, ink, chemicals, Agro chemical and coating industries for size reduction and dispersing of pigments in liquid, Particle size reduction up to 2 microns re possible in a single pass.

 

The ancestor of the Modern Pressurized Horizontal Sand Mill is Bead Mill. The working principle of bead mill is feed to be processed is pressurized pumped from the bottom of the mill into the milling chamber which is filled with grinding media .The grinding media is agitated by number of impellers which are fitted on a lengthy drive shaft. The complete impeller assembly is rotate on high speed and creates pressurized movement of grinding material and on feed. As the material moves upwards it is subjected to high hydraulic & shearing forces between the grinding media which results in fine grinding of the material. This material then passes through the micron gap disc which separates the media from the process material. All mills are provided with a mechanical seal with hydraulic pressure and jacket arrangement for cooling the material in the grinding chamber.

v      Contact parts in AISI 316 OR AISI 304 as desired by customer.

v      A very large no. of small balls could be crowded together to do a superior grinding / milling of product as compared to just a few large balls with smaller no. of contact points.

v      The work is done primarily by shear on the solids of the slurry following through the spacers in the beads as the solid particle in the slurry and the beads move past each other at different velocities.

v      Available in 50 kg to 1000 kg capacity.

v      Vertical and integrated design of grinding mechanism, feed pump and electric controlled box make the mill ideal for easy operations and space saving.

v      The circulating cooling system effectively maintains the optimal operating temperature

v      Feed pump is equipped with inverter controlled transmission motor to achieve the best materials feeding

v      With advancement of metallurgy & mechanical seal technologies the horizontal mills were developed which turned out to be more efficient because of mechanical advantages.

CONE MILL:

Uniform size reduction process

Application & Process:

 

Cone Mill is used for achieving de-lumping, dispersion, De agglomeration, fine grinding, dry and wet milling uniform size reduction, sieving and mixing in the pharmaceutical, food, fine chemical, personal care and cosmetics industries.

The product is poured into the feed hopper of the Cone Mill. In the conical screen chamber, a rotating impeller imparts a vortex flow pattern to the in feed product. The product is forced outward to the screen surface by centrifugal acceleration, ensuring continuous delivery into the "action zone" between the screen and impeller. No heating of product during granulation / sizing operation, due to better air circulation and lesser impact action. In the "action zone" the material is uniformly sized and instantaneously passed tangentially through the screen openings. The finished product is discharged at the bottom of the milling chamber.

Application & Process:

Tray Drying Ovens are used for drying of pharmaceutical powders, granules, Pigments, Food, Bakery, Electrodes, Chemical, and Plastic etc in an effective and economical way by hot air re-circulation.

 

Tray dryer is an enclosed insulated chamber in which trays are placed on top of each other. Heat transfer is done by circulation of hot air by electric heaters or any other heating media. Blower fans are installed inside to ensure proper circulation and transfer of heat.

The Rota Cone Vacuum Dryer is suitable for drying the material which can not operate at low Temperature easily oxidized, poisonous in nature. It operates at low Temperature efficiently under vacuum. It is very economical by total solvent recovery. 
It is used for raw materials drying and mixing powder or granules of Pharmaceutical Materials, Crystalline, Insecticides, Pesticides, and Food industry and heat sensitive products. The Rota Cone Vacuum Drier consists of a jacketed double conical shell rotating around 6 RPM with provision for application of vacuum inside the shell and circulation of heating media in the jacket during the rotation of the cone. 
The large heating surface area presented by the internals of the cone ensures uniform drying of the product, as the product gently tumbles while the cone rotates slowly. The diffusive action induced by the tumbling cone constantly presents a fresh layer to come into contact with the indirectly heated walls of the shell. 

A well designed sealing system enable maintenance of deep vacuum inside the shell, and also ensures positive circulation of a heating media in the jacket.
