Ultra Planetary Mixer is applicable for a wide variety of viscosity product, i.e. emulsions and semisolid. It integrates mixing, vacuuming, heating, cooling and homogenizing functions into single machine, resulting in a considerably reduction in cycle time. Our range stretches from laboratory model of 10 liters up to production model of 6,000 liters working capacity.

 

Theory of Operation:

 

The basis of mixing system of Ultra Planetary Mixer is a combination of counter – rotating paddle agitator and internal homogenizer. Gate-type agitator with cross baffles rotates in anti-clockwise direction while counter paddle revolves in clockwise direction, generating a disturbance in the normally circular flow pattern and dampen vortex formation. The blades of paddles are pitched to promote top – to bottom flow. In addition, adjustable scrapers are utilized to prevent the build-up of a stagnant film between the agitator and the vessel, and assure efficient heat transfer to product during heating and cooling steps. The speed of the agitator and the counter paddle can be varied separately.

 

Homo disperser, locates at the bottom of the vessel, accomplishes emulsification by physical action and centrifugal forces created by high speed rotation of the rotor. These actions would break up oil phase/ aqueous phase liquid stream into tiny and discrete droplets. Then they will be intensively and continuously mixed by counter – rotating agitator mechanism, and become final products. For versatility of use, interchangeable high viscosity and low viscosity homo disperser heads are provided with the system. Homo disperser speed is adjustable by inverter control.

 

Conical mixing vessel is jacketed for heating / cooling and completely enclosed. All contact parts are stainless steel 316. The vessel is designed to operate under vacuum; mixing and emulsification can then be performed without entrainment of air.

 

A temperature measuring probe, extending directly into the product, allows exact setting of the temperature with a view to process management. For process reproducibility, mixing time, product temperature, agitator speed, counter paddle speed and homogenizer speed can be controlled to the desired condition.

 

Raw material feeding to Prism Vacuum Mixer can be manual through the fully open lid, or completely automatic through vacuum system. Finished product is discharges by manual discharge valve or through special design transfer pump on mobile trolley into product container.

The filter press is a solid liquid separation device using the principle of pressure feeding. It is highly efficient, compact, dewatering device for separating solids from liquid slurries in the form of compressed cake. It has wide range of applications by several industries like Pharma, bulk drugs, distilleries, beverages & other industries.

 

Process of Horizontal Type Filter Press:

The unfiltered liquid is fed into the filter under positive pressure, where liquid travels in downwards direction and finds its way through opening on sides of the Filter Plates.As the liquid pressure increases, the Filter media holds the foreign particles and allows only clear filtrate to pass through the central channel formed by interlocking pressure cups to the outlet. Filtration is continued until the cake holding capacity of the unit is reached or until the filtrate rate becomes too slow owing to cake resistance.

 

Process of Plate & Frame Type Filter Press

Plate & Frame Type Filter Press is suitable for Filtration of Sugar Syrup based liquid, Kieselguhr Filtration, Filtration of thin liquid, Retention of solids/ Carbon. Filter Press constitutes of Fixed, Moving and Rocket body all of which are cladded with stainless steel sheets. All the joints are welded. The Fixed and Rocket body are connected with pipes, forming a self supporting chasis. Filter Plates, Frames and Moving body are guided on chasis pipes. With the Aid of change over plate, filter press can be divided in two sections for two Stage filtration.

  • In order to meet the variety of applications, we have developed a new modular construction series. With this series of machines it became possible to carry out different process steps like dispersing with “high shear”, milling or continuous mixing of solids and liquid with only a few modules. A very economic solution.
  • For the discontinuous processing technology we offer of course also a complete program of stirring, mixing and dispersing machines.
  • A three-stage high - shear dispersing machine for the production of macro-emulsions and very fine suspensions.
  • Due to the three generators (rotor + stator) in direct series a narrow distribution range, smaller droplets and particles and thus a longer stability of the mixture are reached.
  • The generators are easily interchangeable, by which a further adaptation to the respective application becomes possible.
  • Same speed and shear rate for all machine sizes enables an exact scale-up.

Automatic Volumetric Liquid Bottle Filling Machine work on volumetric principle with diving nozzles. The unit is made compact, versatile and enclosed in stainless steel elegantly matt finish body, consists of S.S. Slat Conveyor, Reciprocating Nozzle with self-centering devices & SS Syringe. The main drive of the machine and conveyor drive consist of A/c Motor with synchronized variable A/c Frequency Drive.

 

Containers moving on SS Slat conveyor, feed below the filling nozzles through a settable twin pneumatically operated stopper system. The twin pneumatically operated stopper system and reciprocating nozzles can precisely match for centering of container below nozzles, to avoid spillage of liquid on container.

To minimize foaming adjustable nozzle will reciprocate according to filling dose, nozzle will go upwards slowly from bottom level of bottle towards neck during filling.
