Puravi Electrotech, a partnership company, was formed in the year 1998 by the present founder director of the company, Mr. Ravi Amdekar, a Graduate Electrical Engineer, a Member of the Institution of Engineers of India & a Certified Energy Auditor with over 30 years of experience, with a view to address the growing field of Energy Conservation.

The main and initial objective of the company was to manufacture and market an energy saver for discharge lighting applications. Very shortly thereafter, brand named ELECTROMIZER, the product took off with its first order from CIPLA LTD for its plant at PATALGANGA. Orders streamed in at a slow but steady pace and in the first year, we delivered about eight panels. Four years later, we decided that it was time to reorganize ourselves and formed a Private Limited Company. Prithvi Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (PTPL) was thus founded in 1998.

Mr. Rajesh Deshpande - a Graduate Chemical Engineer, a Certified Energy Auditor with a number of other professional qualifications in the field of Energy with over 18 years of experience in Industry and Energy Consultancy, is also a director of Prithvi Technologies Pvt. Ltd (PTPL) and was thus born in the year 1998.

Our basic product, the energy saver, still remains the same. However, during the past decade, technological inputs have seen it grow from a purely manual panel to a semi-automatic and further to a fully automatic version. Our latest addition, in the year 2005, was what we refer to as an INTELLIGENT panel incorporating GSM based control and data acquisition facilities. This version features a fully automatic and entirely user programmable controller linked to a monitor-data logger and a GSM modem for remote operation and data logging.
Since inception, our installed base has grown to over 1500 panels throughout the length and breadth of India and abroad.
