These fans are highly efficient and quiet in operation. They are well suited for handling reasonably clean air up to 4000 cubic metres per hour at pressure ranging from 250 to 1150 mm. Water guage. Multistage fans can be supplied to give higher pressures. Higher capacity fans also can be given. Application: These fans are ideally suited for supply of air to oil and gas burners for atomization and combustion cupolas, agitation of liquids, blowing cooling, drying, exhausting and pneumatic conveying, hot air circulation. Construction: The casings are construction in heavy guage steel sheets, stiffened with angle and welded to forms a rigid component the impellers are specially designed for low inertia and accurately balanced in the case of direct motor shaft. In belt driven fans the impeller is moumoumaed on a steel shaft of ample size running in ball bearings. The fans are normally supplied with bottom horizontal discharge. However if required the position of the discharge can be altered as per the customers requirement. A wire mesh screen is fitted to the fan inlet. Performance:The fans give a uniform delivery of air at constant pressure within the related output. The horse power varies directly as the capacity and hence the motor will be overloaded if the rated capacity and hence is will be overloaded if the rated capacity is exceeded. Hence it is very essential to see that no attempt is made to draw more air from the fan i.e. discharge from the fan either the suction or the discharge should be fully closed and the fan attains its normal speed the restriction can be slowly removed. Motors: The standard fans are fitted with TEFC motors with class 'E' insulated and wound for 400/440 V. 3phase electric AC supply. Fans can be supplied with single phase motors and also flame proof motors. The M.S fabricated motor base forms an integral part of the fan casing. Optional Extras: These include inlet flange, inlet damper,outlet damper flanged discharge expanders and inlet Filters. |
