Commenced journey in the year 1980, ‘Progressive Wiring Systems’ is a respectable entity the thrust of whose operations lie in the manufacturing of automotive components and Hi-Tech automobile electrical system. Incepted by qualified and dedicated entrepreneurs, our concern has gradually expanded, and in the year 1990, became the original equipment supplier of automotive wiring harnesses to M/s. Tata Motors Ltd.
 
The 30 year old experience of our mentor Mr. U. P. Dutta coupled up with his science and business background has helped our company has grown manifolds in the pursuits of innovation and excellence. His relentless efforts towards quality have led us in achieving ISO 9001: 2000 certification in the year 2004.
 
Catering to the huge demand in all segments of Indian automobile market by means of technically upgraded wiring harnesses, we strive to become the global hub by developing an in house design and development capability. With our technical assistance sourced from South Korea, we are instrumental in adhering to standard costing system automation for our pricing and undergo the process of improvement of pass ratio.

Our Vendors Base

Our amicable relations with our vendors have been the reason that has made us set mark for ourselves in this highly competitive industry. The technical assistance that we source from our domestic and international part suppliers have helped us in delivering impeccable quality in our range.
 
We source the parts of our automotive wiring harness systems from Indigenus: Tyco India, Tata Yazaki India, Srinisons, Terminal Technology and Malhotra Cables. We have also established our relations beyond borders and thus import some of the parts of our range from South Korea as well. The fruitful relations with them have helped us to progress in our endeavors and strive towards mutually beneficial deals.

Quality Assurance

Since we are an ISO 9001: 2000 certified firm, it becomes our core responsibility to adhere to all quality standards that are accepted by the industry. We have set up a Quality Management System that conforms to ISO/TS 16949:2002 thereby making our in house production at a level of “0” PPM.

For testing our range of automotive wiring harnesses on various parameters like resistance to high temperature, resistance to oil, corrosion resistance, shock resistance and many others, we follow the following methodology:

  • Individual testing facilities as per specifications
  • Adhering set Quality systems.
  • Thorough Inspection of Incoming Materials
  • Thorough supervision on process to ensure a quality finished product
  • 100% circuit testing and visual inspection for ZERO DEFECT
  • Presently we are working at > 5.25 in final out put
