Product Description


Ball mill is an efficient machine for fine powder grinding and key equipment for grinding after the crushing are two ways of ball mill grinding: the dry way and the wet way. It is used to grind many kinds of mineral ores and other materials, or to select mine. Ball mill is also widely used in the manufacturing industries, such as Biotechnology, Cement, Silicate, Fertilizer, Ferrous Metal, Nonferrous Metal and Glass Ceramics and can be used for the dry and wet grinding for all kinds of ores and other grindable materials.

 

Structure :

 

The machine is composed of feeding part, discharging part, 1/2 rotation part and driving part (reducer, small driving gear, electric motor and electric control).

We have specially designed ball mill with Pneumatic discharge by using Labyrinth Seal. A ball mill, a type of grinder, is a cylindrical device used in grinding (or mixing) materials like ores, chemicals, ceramic raw materials and paints. Ball mills rotate around a horizontal axis, partially filled with the material to be ground plus the grinding medium. Different materials are used as media, including ceramic balls, flint pebbles and stainless steel balls. An internal cascading effect reduces the material to a fine powder. Industrial ball mills can operate continuously, fed at one end and discharged at the other end. Large to medium-sized ball mills are mechanically rotated on their axis, but small

 

 

ones normally consist of a cylindrical capped container that sits on two drive shafts (pulleys and belts are used to transmit rotary motion). The grinding works on principle of critical speed. The critical speed can be understood as that

speed after which the steel balls (which are responsible for the grinding of particles) start rotating along the direction of the cylindrical device; thus causing no further grinding.

 

Mill Application


The ball mill is a key equipment for regrinding. It is widely used for the cement, the silicate product, new type building material, fire-proof material, chemical fertilizer, black and non-ferrous metal, glass, ceramics and etc. Our ball mill can grind ore or other materials that can be grinded either by wet process or by dry process.

 

Ball Mill Features and benefits


This machine is made up of feeding part, discharging part, transmission part, (decelerator, small transmission gear, electrical control ) and so on. The hollow axis adopts the cast steel and the lining can replace, the rotating big gear processes in the way of casting rolling gear. The barrel body is wearable well and bears wearable scaleboard. This machine runs steadily and works reliably.

Ball Mills are provided with vertical cylindrical/conical jacketed body with electrical heaters & controllers. The mill is provided with stainless steel balls. These balls are stirred by stirrer, made out of rods which are welded to main shaft in ‘+’ shape. The stirrer speed is generally provided as 300 RPM.

A perforated plate is provided below the stirrer & a magnetic arrester at the bottom. A close circulation of the paste is achieved by gear pump or by diaphragm pump. Various models from 20 Ltrs. To 1000 Ltrs. are available.
