In the 20 years since its inception, Promed has crossed many milestones and chartered many terrains. Over the years, we have grown to be one of the most reliable names in the global pharma industry. Started with a team of few people, Promed today is a 500-member strong team.

Promed Milestones 1990

• Promed established

1991 - 2000

• Initiates Russian operations
• Launches branded ophthalmic products in Russia
• Provides medicines for treatment of victims of Chernobyl disaster

2001 - 2005

• Consolidates marketing operations in Russia
• Conducts its first National Sales Meeting
• Enters the CIS market, starts Kazakhstan operations
• Launches the Dipana business unit
• Receives the ISO 9001:2000 certification
• Participates at CPhI exhibition (Brussels) for the first time
• First Organization Wellness survey at Promed

2006

• Commences operations at Promed Research & Development Centre, Gurgaon (Haryana)
• Enters the Ukraine market

2007

• Commences production at the Promed manufacturing facility in Nalagarh, India
• Becomes an integrated pharma player with Research & Development Centre , manufacturing facility and marketing and sales operations
• Progresses to become number 4 in the Russian ophthalmic market

2008

• Progresses to become number 3 in the Russian ophthalmic market
• First shipment to UK
• Acquires 1st CE-Mark product certification
• Receives ISO 13485:2003 and WHO-GMP approvals
• Receives a financial rating of BBB+ by Crisil

2009

• Receives the European-GMP approval for the manufacturing plant
• Is declared the number 1 Ophthalmic generic company in Russia
• Progresses to become number 2 in the Russian Ophthalmic prescription market
• Achieves over US$ 20 million annual sales
• Receives an award for "Excellent export performance" from Government of India through Pharmexcil
• Establishes ERP system - TRACK

2010

• Receives 'Facility Establishment Identifier Number' (FEI) from the USFDA
• Registers its first product in Europe
• Commences the operation of three-piece manufacturing line
