The removal of oversprayed paint in the paint booth is very important and critical. The live paint is a sticky mass, which is likely to adhere to the various parts of the booth like booth valves, flood sheets, venturi tubes, pipelines of water circulation etc.

The use of proper booth additive and the sludge removal system will help in minimizing the problems of paint booth maintenance. Protochem Industries is having different range of paint coagulants like acidic, alkaline. However, we would like to promote the paint coagulant of neutral nature. There are certain advantages and disadvantages while using acidic/alkaline booth additive against neutral booth additive.

The paint coagulant 520 series effectively detackifies any type of paint like solvent bond or water bond. The sludge generated is in the form of small particles which can be flocculated by using the cationic or anionic polymers. Additive T 400 series contains specially designed flocculants. The problem of pungent smell in the booth water can be controlled by using the selective biocides at the recommended dosage.
