Carpenter Artists: Narendra Narmadashankar Suthar & Family.Ours is a family of carpenter artist and is in the profession of traditionally handcrafted authentic reproduction of Windsor chairs and furniture. Our father Shri Narmadashankar Kishordas Suthar has qualified us and inspired us producing finest quality heritage furniture.For over 150 years, our family – all carpenter artists; work in furniture making has been devoted to manufacturing of finest classic furniture, reproducing the premium classic furniture. We have produced Windsor chairs, including some of the rare and unusual, the inspiration for homes and Offices, as well as for dinning, lounge and bar area in five / seven star Hotels, restaurants, yachts, corporate projects, banks in heritage building and premium clubs.Today our family continues to build furniture by hand, in the same manner of the 18th century furniture makers - with great care and attention to every part of the chair in detail and the finishes with the Milk Paint.Such furniture is an asset, returning to the purchaser and succeeding generation’s pleasure, satisfaction, and increasing value. It is our promise to justify that investment by building furniture honestly, in the old way, of the very best materials obtainable.The inspiration for our work is drawn from very rich heritage of American Windsor chair making in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Magnificently varied in their stylistic and regional forms, these chairs remain lively, expressive and elegant without gaudiness or pretension. And yet they were chairs for everyday use, answering the challenge of functional chair design very well: They are comfortable, strong and lightweight.
