About Us

Powersystem Design & Commissioning Services (PDCS) was promoted in 1999 by Engineers well experienced in power system with a mandate to address the power project developers in India and Overseas. PDCS was started as a service institution with a strategic focus on development of latest technology in power systems.


PDCS has its headoffice in Chennai, India with a branch office in Bangalore, India undertaking designing, testing, commissioning and protection of power projects.

PDCS is closely working with overseas companies to formulate required frame works in design and commissioning of power projects with an initiation in projects. Also PDCS is assisting developers in the field of power system in developing the infrastructure power project services on a commercial format.

PDCS has steadily expanded its area of services, which presently include:
Power System design for establishing Gas insulated Substation up to 400KV
Design of Protection system of EHV/HV in new substations
Power system protective Relay coordination of Relay settings and its adaptation works.
Testing and Commissioning of Substations/Power Projects
Approved by Chief Electrical Inspector for the Government (CEIG) of Tamilnadu to carry out testing on HV and EHV installations.

PDCS thoroughly understands the requirement of the power project development and has extensive experience in the Indian environment as well as in the MiddleEast countries and has established a network of relationships in the power sector industries.
