About the Owner Upendra Singh joined Purjainfotech as Chief Executive Officer in March, 2009.
BRIEF PROFILE OF UPENDRA SINGH
Upendra brings more than 16 years of hands-on experience in defining enterprise data architecture strategy, data warehousing and business intelligence, project and product management, and system development strategies. Upendra comes from State Street where most recently he was Vice President in the office of architecture. He was instrumental in defining data architecture strategy for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence. Prior to State Street, as Director of Data Architecture and Development at Investors Bank & Trust, Upendra executed in various leadership roles and built and implemented various business applications in the areas of Fund Accounting, Institutional Custody, Transfer Agency, Portfolio Management and Alternate investments.
He owned the data warehouse and staging database of the bank that was the backbone of client information delivery platforms. Before Coming to Investors Bank & Trust, Upendra was lead data warehouse consultant at Gillette Company where he architected, developed and supported various data warehousing solutions in the areas of Key Performance indicators, Sales Reporting & Analysis and Customer Relationship Management.
Upendra started his career with largest Indian IT consulting company Tata Consultancy Services where he developed and implemented retail banking product for Indian banks. As a consultant He helped Fidelity investments build the Financial Instrument database and developed interfaces to load security master and pricing data from various vendors into this database. At TCS Upendra build the Portfolio Management and Business Partner sub- systems as part of Quartz®, TCS’s flagship banking product for mid-office and back-office functions of a universal bank.
Upendra's specialties are hiring and retaining technical professionals and application development and support using globally dispersed teams. He holds MS degree in Computers from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India and have completed Executive Certificate program in Management and Leadership from of MIT Sloan School of Management, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. He is BS in Computer Science from Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow. Upendra is currently based out of Greater Noida, India.
