Lens Holder

Three standard sized prism tables are available . They will accept right angle prisms, cube beam splitter's and similar components with overall heights of 26min, 35mrn and 60nun.

Prisms are held in position on the table top by a cork-padded pressure thumb screw which is supported by two side posts and a cross member. The brass pots and cross member may be removed and relocated in the opposite 900 orientation to assure convenient location of the tilt and rotational control knobs. Maximum distance between these pins (and there fore maximum prism diagonal dimensions ) are listed below .

When prism less than the minimum height specification are to be mounted , specers may be added above or below the prism to make up the difference.

X and Y tilt of the table surface of 3 degree in each axis is provided by two spring loaded thumb screws similarly a rotationa about a vertical axis through the prism of 3 deg is provided by a third thumb screw . These features provide a smooth and convenient beam steering function through the prism.

The prism holders bases are provided with M 6 clearance holes for mounting directly to other accessories Alternatively table clamp may be used for the same purpose , Prism holders may also be mounted on the appropriate sized transalation and rotational stages.

Lens holder are all mounted all on 12 mm or 20 mm diameter posts for use with quality manufacturing Co. Simple concave and convex lenses from 10 mm diameter to 153 mm diameter . Adapters are available for lens diameter from 5.2 mm to 20 mm these fit the 30 mm lense holder

each lense holder is engraved with its clear aperture in millimeter (inxches where even ) so that lense may be mounted rapidely and with assurence . The most length are adjustable for each lense holder so that the nominal optical axis is approximetly constants at 150 mm this is of the great convience when setting up protype systems mas a common optical axis is readilly settable for all components .

A nylon ring caution the lens when the brass retainer ring is screwed in to mount the lens a lost spanner is required to tighting and remove the retainer ring

Adapter for small lense:

Each adapter made of aluminium finished black anodized and is supplied complete with nylon cushion ring and thread brass retaining ring similar to post mounted lense holder these adapter are most convienent for mounting stock melles griot lenses the clear aperture is reduced by the retaining ring. All adapters fit the 30 mm lens holder by screwing them in to the holder.

A cushioned clamping bar actuated by two thumb screws holds prisms up to 50nTrn x 50mm on a flat table. The prisms may be oriented on the table and once oriented the cushioned clamp holds the prism in place. This can be Base mounted as well Rod mounted.
