Team / ManpowerMM Sharma -- Managing Director : Backed by a Post Graduate degree and Research work in field of Electrochemistry he has contributed vastly in the field of portable energy systems in general and Battery Technology in particular, at the corporate, state as well as National levels. His long association with the Japanese organizations and professionals has been both rewarding and an educating experience. Much of this he liberally shared and promoted in other Indian organizations to initiate healthy best practices and good working environment.
As Chairman of the Bureau of Indian Standard’s, Primary Battery - Technical committee for over ten Years he was instrumental in making Indian Battery standards truly world class and Internationally comparable. A strong advocate of Quality movement using Japanese techniques he was able to bring about change in many manufacturing companies in Gujarat, thru QCFI as its chairman and other such organizations.
An Environmentalist at heart he supported companies moving towards Environmental Friendly technologies and systems, which ultimately culminated in promoting a venture in the solar Energy field. With a strong Management and Technology background at the base, we intend making QTPL a thoroughly professional company with a strong Technology and Environment bias, making all out effort to succeed.
Ashok Dhasmana -- Executive Director : A Science Graduate from Delhi University and armed with management skills, acquired through many short term courses at Institutions like IIM Lucknow, Forum of Free Enterprise, Indo American Society etc. Starting as Marketing and sales professional, his career ultimately culminated as the CEO of a large distribution company by the name of Lakhanpal Limited with a turnover of over Rs. 1000 Million.
He successfully handled the total operation involving dry batteries and torches. He also handled sales and distribution of batteries & torches, manufactured by Matsushita Lakhanpal Battery India Ltd at all India level covering over 300 Thousand outlets and supported by a sales force of over 350 persons.
Initiated setting up of a fully dedicated plastic battery Appliances Unit with the help of Battery Appliances Division of Panasonic Battery - Japan. Lately demitted office as Vice President (Marketing) Panasonic Battery India Limited.
Currently Director of Rose Marketing Pvt. Ltd a distribution company dealing in FMCG products.
Yoshitake Kyoden -- Executive Advisor : A graduate in Business administration from a Japanese university, Mr. Kyoden has held Senior Managerial positions in the Panasonic Corporation, in Japan and advised its subsidiaries all over the world with regard to their marketing operations and strategy.
For many years he was the head of the International Marketing Group in consumer line for the Panasonic Battery Corp. in Japan. He has long experience of the Indian markets, where he started working from the year 1974 onwards. He has greatly contributed by establishing marketing operations of Novino & Nippo batteries in India, where he held Board Director level position.
He has an abiding interest in promoting Solar Energy systems and appliances, so that he can contribute to the non-electrified rural areas of India. With his world wide association and network he continues to provide the much needed Global Expertise and Vision to QTPL’s commercial, Technical and overall business operations.
