Anti Scalent![]() In order to effectively combat the problems associated with hard water, especially of hardness salts and the formation of scale across commercial, industrial and process environments, various anti scalents and water treatment chemicals have been developed. These chemicals are formulated using advanced technology and ensure complete treatment of hard water related issues. We offer effective services that are applicable over a wide range of applications. Water Softener Spare Parts![]() To efficiently cater to all the needs of our clients, we even install and repair spare parts of water softeners, helping us ensure highest level of client satisfaction. Possessing in-depth technical knowledge, we are able to promptly detect the fault and repair it in a short time. Moreover, while rendering our services, we also keep the budgetary constraints of our customers in view. Water Softeners![]() Water softeners help make hard water comparatively soft and suitable for use. Hard water contains several ions such as calcium, magnesium and a minute quantity of manganese and ferrous iron ion concentration. These lead to three major unhealthy effects. Firstly, metal ions react with calcium-sensitive detergents and soaps that hamper their ability lather and form a precipitate. It also affects the cleaning effect of detergent formulations. The second point is that calcium and magnesium carbonates tend to precipitate out as hard deposits to the surfaces of pipes and heat exchanger surfaces. The primary reason for this is the thermal decomposition of bi-carbonate ions, although, at times this also happens due to the absence of such ions. As a result, the build up formed can restrain the flow of water in pipes. The deposits, when formed in boilers, act as an insulation that harms the heat flow into water and reduces the heating efficiency. Thus, allowing overheating of the metal boiler components. This can even lead to failure of the boiler in a pressurized system. Thirdly, the presence of ions in hard water can result in galvanic corrosion. This means that when one metal comes in contact with another metal, it will preferentially corrode when both are in contact with an electrolyte. Nonetheless, the ions released during conventional water softening such as sodium or potassium are more electrolytically active than the calcium or magnesium ions that they replace. Thus, water softening would significantly increase galvanic corrosion, instead of reducing it. Likewise, while using a lead plumbing, softened water is likely to be substantially more plumbo-solventas compared to hard water. Ion-Exchange Resin Devices The stereotypical water-softening equipment designed for household use depend on an ion-exchange resin wherein, hardness ions exchange places with sodium ions that are electrostatically bound to the anionic functional groups of the polymeric resin. Zeolites, a class of minerals, also exhibits ion-exchange properties and these minerals were extensively used in the initial water softeners. Water softeners are ideal for application when well water is sourced, be it private or municipal. Therefore, in order to help our clients drink and use healthy and pure water, we provide installation and maintenance services for water softeners. We are well aware of the technical specifications and the methodology used in old as well as new models of water softeners and can adeptly handle and repair any fault that takes place within a short time. |
