About UsRain CII's roots are in the aluminum industry, dating back to 1959, when CII Carbon, LLC began as the Carbon Division of Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation. In 1998, Rain CII Carbon (India) Limited constructed Asia¿s largest petroleum coke calcining facility in the port city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh state.
Rain CII produces three primary products: calcined delayed sponge coke used primarily by aluminum producers for anode manufacture; calcined delayed coke for titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment manufacture, and calcined fluid coke used as a packing material in anode baking furnaces. Other specialty calcined coke products are also made by special arrangement.
Calcined coke specifications for anode and TiO2 applications vary from customer to customer. We produce run-of-kiln products which range from 1.5% to 4.5% sulfur and vanadium levels ranging from 150 to 500 ppm. The level of calcination is tailored to meet individual customer requirements. Humble, TX – One paintbrush at a time, employees of Rain CII Carbon, a Kingwood based industrial carbon company, are working to make a difference this week for Family Promise of Lake Houston, which is committed to helping homeless families in our community achieve lasting independence.
The renovations will take place at a home located on S. Ave. G in Humble, Texas, on Friday, May 22 from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. They will mainly focus on working to update the paint on the home and replace some outdoor fixtures.
“Rain CII is committed to making a difference in the communities in which we live and work. We are proud to be a part of this collaboration with Family Promise. We applaud our employees donating their time, talent and treasure to help achieve the Family Promise mission,” said Rain CII CEO Gerry Sweeney.
