We are located in Dahanu Road having 3 Manufacturing sites, about 125 km. from the AirPort at Mumbai, on the N.H. 8 we have to drive 24 km. from N.H. 8 to reach on location. In 1980 was joined by his son. Sanjive age 19 years and it was then the father and son Duo thought of Manufacturing, S.S. Cutlery. The first product launched under Raj Brand was a Tea Spoon. Which was a smash hit in the market due to the quality of finishing. Slowly the other items were added while working was yet on 2 Hand presses ie No. 12 and No. 20. It was in 1985 the first power press was Bought and some more products added to cater to the local market. The first export order procured by us was in 1991 and it was then the growth was really Affected. Today we have a Turnover of about 3 crores and manufacture about 700 different items catering to the Domestic, Hotel and catering Industry. The Prime focus of our factory is today on exports and we have about 5 clients in different countries and about 4 Clients in the local category who are also exporters. We manufacture the whole range of kitchen tools in 5 different Models. Serving Tools and cutlery in cup rolled as well as flatware. We have added the full range of Tongs and have about 200 models in all categories. We have now developed the professional series of Kitchen Tools which cater to the up market kitchen. |
