Rubber Wood

The timber logs are cut into required sizes in our Sawmill and after quality checking against defects, they are stacked in Chemical Impregnation Chamber for performing Bethell’s Process (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation Method). At first – 8 Bar Vacuum is created inside the Impregnation chamber using vacuum pump to draw all air and cell sap out of the tiny vessels of the timber sizes. Then Boric Acid and Borax Mixture mixed in water in required quantities along with imported wood preservative imported chemicals is injected into the chamber and high pressure of 200 Psi is created in the chamber using the pressure pump. This pressure is maintained for two to three hours to ensure complete penetration of chemicals into the innermost parts of the timber sizes. After this, the pressure is released and the material is taken out.

This material is then stacked inside the drying kilns and dried with the help of steam circulating through heat exchangers inside the kiln. The steam is produced by wood-fired steam boilers. The material is dried seven to eight days continuously under controlled temperature and air velocity; ensure complete drying of wood and bringing down the moisture content as required. The product thus obtained, RSKD Rubber Wood (Rough Sawn Kiln Dried Rubber Wood) is then bundled and packed and dispatched.

The rubber wood  boxes produced are made up of quality rubber wood, silver wood or jungle wood with 25 mm or 36 mm thickness planks. They are mainly prepared for the domestic transportation. These can be easily lifted by fork lift or rope way. They are easy to handle and offer easy transit and have no restriction about physical dimensions.
