We completely understand that applications of steel and metal products are highly complicated and demand accuracy. Our products adhere to international specifications and dimensional standards.

A sample test for tensile strength is done on pile of pipes, tubes fittings, flanges, fasteners, etc. with the codes as required by the client. We use universal testing machine, which is calibrated & approved by the authorized inspection agencies. Hardness testing is done on at least 10% of each lot & results are recorded in separate register. Impact test is carried out on low temperature fittings covered by specification ASTM A420 WPL grades. 100% X-Ray examination is carried out on all Welded Pipes, Tubes, Fitting Hear treatment is carried out after final forging or forming as required by the code. After final forging or heat treatment a batch number is assigned to a lot and this batch number is stamped on each Pipes, Tubes, fittings, Flanges, Etc.

We follow an appropriate manufacturing process right from procuring raw material to dispatching final product to the customers. At the stage of procurement of raw material various stages are taken care of cracks, seams, overlapping, pitting, as well as dimensionally. A chemical & physical test is carried out before selecting the raw material. Following are the stages that are followed to acquire a perfect product:

• Heat Treatment
• Welding
• Forging
• Machining
• Pickling

Once the forging and heating treatment process is done, all the pipes fittings, flanges, fasteners, etc. are sent for machining as per dimensional codes. Further a specialized Q.C engineer keeps a constant vigil on every machining operation. GO and NO-GO gauges are used for the fittings of flanges and similar other.

Finishing

All the tubes and pipes are picked and the scale is removed that is formed during forging/ forming operations. Further Grinding operation is done to remove the die mark and inside / outside burrs formed during forming & machining operation. Dimensional check is carried out finally & recorded.

Marking

Once all the products are finalized and finished a dimensional check is done on all the fittings with is then stamped /marked for size, schedule, Fittings specification, Heat mark & batch number.

Certificate

All the products are furnished with manufacturer’s test certificate. The certificate connotes important data such as raw material composition and that heat treatment is done.
