We undertake several tests to ensure our product meets all requisite requirements. These tests consists of :
GLC testing – this test helps us to find most irregular type of the adulterants.
Visual and smell test – in this test translucency, color, viscosity and solubility have been tested to maintain the quality of the oil.
Specific gravity tests- this test is the density of the substance which is divided by the density of the water. Since water has the density of 1 grm/cm3 and all unit cancel. It is the same number of density without any units.
Refractive index test- the refraction is related to the physical structure through which light is passing. The higher the refractive index, the greater the amount of dispersion, which increase the brilliance of a material.
Acid value test- Amount of free acid present in fat is measured by the milligrams of potassium hydroxide needed to neutralize it.
Hydroxyl value test- A measure of hydroxyl (univalent OH) group in and organic material.
Iodine value test- it helps to measure the degree of unsaturation in the oil
Saponification value test- The saponification value is the amount of alkali necessary to saponify a definite quantity of the sample. It is expressed as the number of milligrams of potassium hydroxide (KOH) required to saponify 1 gram of the sample.
