About UsBefore the proposed unit Ramway Foods Limited, at V. Bhartari, Delhi Road, Aligarh, the R.C.S. Roller Flour Mills Limited came into existence in Aligarh in 1984 as private limited company. It started with a licensed milling capacity of 30 M.T. per day. It is at present running at 110 M.T. capacity.
Shri Ved Prakash Singhal, now 78, who is Chairman of the Company has been associated with the business since his early childhood. His father the Late Lala Baij Nath Ram Nath was himself as owner of a number of then prevalent Panchakkis of Ganga Nagar during British rule. The experience of milling, therefore, came to Shri Ved Prakash Singhal as swimming comes to a fish. He established first Roller Flour Mill in Meerut in the name and style of M/s, Uday Ram Jagannath, Ganj Bazar at Meerut Cantt. In due course the mills came to be known as Rama Roller Flour Mills. Even today it remains to be the oldest Flour Mill running without break for 58 years. He was accorded honour by the Western U.P. Chamber of Commerce, Meerut for blazing a trail of new industry a couple of years ago. Shri Ved Prakash Singhal still commands high respect in the Milling industry in India.
Shri Pradeep Singhal and Sudhir Singhal, two sons of Shri Ved Prakash Singhal established their unit in corporate sector in Aligarh in the name of R.C.S. Roller Flour Mills Limited in 1984. Shri Pradeep Singhal who is in the third generation of Milling industry also holds an outstanding command on the technology besides having to his credit a Short Terms Diploma in Milling Technology from CFTRI, Bangalore and a diploma in Food Processing from CFTRI resource centre, Lucknow. It is by dint of his hardwork for the betterment of his product and knack for experimenting that he produced successfully a Fortified Atta with of iron, folic acid, vitamins and minerals for the first time in U.P.
Among other Directors Shri Ashish Singhal son of Shri Pradeep Singhal is a graduate from A.M.U. and endowed with the best of qualities of a young entrepreneur. He delves deep into the matter before taking a decision and proceeds with dedication to come out successful. With no prior training of running a retail outlet of Petrol & Petroleum product he gained a license from Indian Oil to establish an outlet the FIRST in the Corporate Sector in Aligarh. The outlet in a small period reached to the top outlets known for their integrity and fairness.
Shri Sumit Singhal son of the Late Sudhir Singhal has been devoting his time in the business since his early school days and keeps all statistical figures of the markets on tips. He is energetic, fun loving and dashing young man with capacity to reach high goals.
Shri Divyansh Singhal son of Shri Pradeep Singhal has joined business after graduating in Mech. Engg. from M.I.T. Pune. A new unit of Roller Flour Mill is being established by R.C.S. family to engage him fully in the food processing sector.
Ramway Foods Limited will be situated at V. Bhartari at Delhi G.T. Road, Aligarh. A land measuring 11280 sq. meters has been brought for installing the Mill. A power connection of about 600 KVA will be required for the unit. The capacity of the Mill will be 150 T.P.D. on a 3 - Shift Working basis.
The unit proposes to establish a state-of-the-art Roller Flour Milling plant with latest versions of Swiss machinery from Buhler who are world leaders in this field.
Market: The market for the products is huge and established. Wheat flour and other by products are part of stable food in the country.
