About UsOur Group’s history can be traced back to 1997 when Rank Metal was started as a small trading company in Thailand. After trading into various commodities in the first 3 years we then specialized into trading of Metal Scrap. In the year 2001 Rank Metal established its first metal scrap yard in Bangkok, Thailand starting with collection and shipments of Stainless Steel 430 Scrap. Over the years we have established ourselves as a major player in recycling of metal scrap with facilities in Thailand, India, UK and Estonia. We are also in the process of expansion into Vietnam and Philippines with recycling facilities in these countries. In the year 2007 and 2008 all the various companies were brought under the umbrella of Rank Metal Holding established in UK forming the Rank Metal Group. |
Quality Policy / ProcessesWe have the people, experience and equipment to sort, identify and grade all incoming materials. Additionally, we can work with you at your facility to segregate mixed and unknown materials for identification. Our test equipment is state-of-the-art. We have four computer-based X-ray metal identification analyzers, and Spectrometers. All of our equipment is calibrated and tested to meet the critical standards and specifications of the primary mills, foundries and metal industry producers we supply. Testing is critical to our business and yours. It takes the guesswork out of the identification process, and often results in upgrading. We weigh the non-ferrous scrap metals on weighbridges to help ensure that the correct quantity is being sold to our customers. All our weighbridges are equipped with weighing indicators for transparency in the weighing process.
